Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio told a radio host today he’s met with Republicans – including every one of the GOP presidential candidates – and has come to the conclusion they’re as guilty as Democrats of “hiding” questions about Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president.

As WND reported, Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse conducted an extensive examination of documents released by the White House last April purported to be Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration card, only to conclude there is probable cause the documents are actually forgeries.

Yet despite his findings, Arpaio told “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio that media and politicians alike are afraid to touch the issue.

“Why didn’t someone investigate this? I mean, where is everybody?” Arpaio asked Klein. “How come the federal agencies aren’t investigating? We’re dealing with federal issues here. So everybody’s hiding, and they’re still hiding.”

Klein told the sheriff he had hired his own forensic experts to analyze Obama’s purported birth certificate, but Arpaio insisted his posse’s examination went even further.

“This takes it to a different level, because we are a law enforcement agency,” said Arpaio, “it gives it a little different type of credibility.”

The sheriff also preempted charges of politics affecting his investigation, explaining he had told lead investigator Mike Zullo to debunk the “birther” claims about Obama’s documents.

“My instructions were this: ‘I want you to clear the president. I want to get to the bottom of this and get it off the table forever,’” Arpaio told Klein. “Didn’t happen that way.”

Instead, Zullo and the Cold Case Posse only confirmed lingering questions about Obama’s documents.

Klein asked Arpaio if he’d heard from Republicans since the announcement of the investigation’s findings.

“I haven’t heard from any,” Arpaio said, “especially the congressional delegation from Arizona.”

But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t tried to get Republicans to recognize the issue.

“I’ve had presidential candidates visit me in my office. I’ve talked to every one of them,” Arpaio said. “I don’t see anybody talking about this. I don’t see any senators talking about it. … How come everybody’s hiding this?”

Alice Palmer, the avowed communist who helped launch Barack Obama’s career, continues to haunt Obama even today.

In 2008, Palmer showed up at the Democratic National Convention in Denver as a Hillary Clinton supporter, still resentful toward Obama for knocking her and three other candidates off the ballot for an Illinois state Senate seat some 13 years earlier by challenging voter signatures.

“The Democratic primary, what I witnessed, was one of the most appalling, disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” Hollywood-based digital photographer Michele Thomas told WND in a joint interview with Hollywood film producer Bettina Viviano.

Thomas began as a volunteer for the 2008 Clinton campaign then launched a petition drive when she learned the Democratic National Committee was not going to allow delegates to cast their votes for Clinton at the convention.

“I just felt like the entire process was being eviscerated and rules were being changed all along to ensure that no matter what, Barack Obama was the nominee,” Thomas said.

“And I felt compelled to take a stand to have the process in which we decide who our candidates are that we vote for be upheld,” she said. “And that the peoples’ votes are held up from the ballot box to the convention where the delegates bring those votes forward.”

Thomas said she received death threats as she gathered the 300 signed and notarized petitions required by Democratic National Convention rules to prompt a count of votes for Hillary Clinton on the first ballot.

Nick Purpura and Ted Moran, both of south central New Jersey, objected to Barack H. Obama's placement on the primary ballot. New Jersey will hold its primary election on June 5. Purpura and Moran say that Obama should not have his name on the ballot because he is not eligible to the office of President. Nick Purpura is a registered Republican, and Ted Moran is a registered Democrat. Therefore, this objection is bi-partisan.

This is one of those stories that seems too good to be true. Last month, we told you about Patrick Greene, an atheist activist who threatened to sue over the presence of a nativity scene in Athens, Texas.

Despite his actions against the religious symbol, Christians came together to raise funds for him and his wife to purchase groceries after he fell ill. Now, as a result of the kind gesture, Greene has reportedly announced that he has become a Christian — and that he wants to enter ministry.

I’ve no idea where President Obama gets his shirts and smokes, but he certainly talks like a highbrow, sufficiently so to persuade presidential historian Michael Beschloss to pronounce him the day after the 2008 election “the smartest president ever.” Yet, in the end, he plays Chicago style. You can take the community organizer out of Chicago, but you can’t take the Chicago out of the community organizer. Or as the Agence France-Presse headline put it, “Combative Obama Warns Supreme Court on Health Law.”

Headlines in which the executive “warns” the courts are usually the province of places like Balochistan, where powerful cabinet ministers are currently fuming at the chief justice’s determination to stop them kidnapping citizens and holding them for ransom — literally, that is, not merely figuratively, as in America. But, here as there, when Obama “warns” the Supreme Court “over health law,” it’s their health prospects he has in mind. He cautioned the justices — “an unelected group of people” — not to take the “unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”

S.E. Cupp is a pretty chipper person.  I’m not sure if that assessment helps her or not.  I don’t know her that well.  We went to lunch once.  I’ve done a bunch of GBTV shows with her.  That’s it.  So, I don’t pretend to be the last word on all things Cupp.  But I can say that she seems to be in a relentlessly good mood.  She zips around.  She quips. She sings.

Still, you always know that there is that side of S.E. Cupp that loves to go to the shooting range.  Maybe that’s where she empties the dark and hidden chambers of her heart.

It’s enough to inform you that crossing Cupp might not be a wise idea.

Keith Olbermann once did just that.  And wouldn’t apologize. And she let him know what she thought of that.

It took awhile, but a year later Olbermann did make a recompense of sorts.  A year later.

So you can hardly fault Cupp for having a few well-timed thoughts about Olbermann’s dismissal from Current TV where he briefly worked in a position that had one sole goal — to make people aware that Current TV existed.

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery accused federal officials of spreading misinformation and trying to foment unrest in Maricopa County by not providing proof that Sheriff Joe Arpaio's agency engages in discriminatory police practices.

Montgomery on Wednesday made his strongest statements yet about the investigation into Arpaio's office, calling on the U.S. Department of Justice to "put up or shut up" by disclosing what evidence it has in its case.

Federal investigators released a 22-page report last December that accused the Sheriff's Office of widespread discrimination against Latino residents through its patrol and jail operations. Sheriff's officials have said the report contained anecdotal information but lacked details to substantiate allegations that the agency had a systemic problem with discriminatory policing.

Terrorist attacks make headlines — the bloodier, the bigger. But assaults on civil liberties are usually stealth strikes — often with even greater, more enduring impact. March was an ominous month for American civil liberties and for those concerned with preserving privacy and other individual rights.

Although President Obama vowed on his first day in office "to usher in a new era of open government" and make his administration the most "transparent" in history, his administration has largely continued his predecessor's whittling away of individual rights in the name of national security. While we should all support sensible measures to combat terrorism and prevent another 9/11, such steps must be balanced against the need to preserve our freedoms. The 9/11 commission concluded that greater openness in government would strengthen both national security and liberty. But government secrecy has grown dramatically on Obama's watch, and the rights of citizens have continued to shrink. (Beware the Ides of March, indeed.)

Last month's issue of Wired magazine contained a troubling story that has received all too little attention. According to James Bamford, a controversial reporter whose most insightful work has focused on the National Security Agency, our nation's vast electronic and signals spy agency, the agency is building a top-secret, $2 billion data collection and storage center five times the size of the U.S. Capitol in the Utah desert. The heavily fortified center is scheduled to be operational by September 2013.

As of then, your private emails, cellphone records, Google searches, parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases and other digital "pocket litter" will be flowing through the agency's giant servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases. Egan-Jones Ratings Co. cut the U.S. credit rating one step to AA, the second downgrade in nine months and two levels below its highest grade, with a negative outlook citing the nation’s increasing debt burden.
U.S. debt has increased to 100 percent of gross domestic product, while debt climbed 23.6 percent from 2008 to 2010, the credit-rating firm said in a statement today. Egan-Jones lowered the U.S. grade to AA+ in a July. Treasuries have gained 4.6 percent since the company first lowered the U.S. rating, according to Bank of America Merrill Lynch index data.
The downgrade was based on “the increasing debt load coupled with the fact that there has been no tangible progress in addressing the country’s growing debt to GDP” ratio, Sean Egan, president of Egan-Jones in Haverford, Pennsylvania, said today in a telephone interview. “Unfortunately, the debt is growing fairly rapidly while the GDP is not.”

The market ignored it.

The reason there has been no tangible progress on the nation’s debt-to-GDP ratio is found in the fact that about one out of every 10 dollars spent in the economy (that is, GDP) is money borrowed by the federal government and then spent.  This creates an artificial level of demand in the economy and allows the government to claim that “we’re growing!”

But we in fact are not.  In point of fact all we’re doing is inflating the debt bubble, just as we have for 30 years.

This chart is, very simply, the change in total systemic debt (from the Fed Z1) compared against the change in GDP.  We get both numbers quarterly; one from the Fed and the other from the BEA.

Since all money is debt in modern monetary systems each new dollar spent into the economy must come with a debit somewhere (that is, it is someone’s obligation.)  This means that we can very easily measure the total amount of monetary inflation — or deflation — by simply comparing those two figures.

Armed Neo-Nazis Now Patrolling Sanford, Say They Are "Prepared" For Post-Trayvon Martin Virdict

Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."
Because nothing diffuses racial tension like gun-toting racial separatists patrolling an already on-edge community.
Schoep, whose neo-Nazi group is based in Detroit, tells Riptide the patrols are a response to white residents' fears of a race riot.

A group called the New Black Panther Party recently offered $10,000 for a citizens' arrest of George Zimmerman, Martin's shooter. Schoep said the bounty is a sign that "the possibility of further racial violence... is brimming over like a powder keg ready to explode into the streets."
The patrols are comprised of between 10 and 20 locals and "volunteers" from across the state, including some from Miami, he added. He couldn't go into specifics on what kind of firepower, exactly, the patrols had with them.

"In Arizona the guys can walk around with assault weapons and that's totally legal," Schoep said, referring to the group's patrols of the US-Mexico border. "What I can tell you is that any patrols that we are doing now in Florida are totally within the law."
Asked if the patrols wouldn't just make things worse -- spark a race riot, for instance -- Schoep insisted they were simply a "show of solidarity with the white community down there" and "wouldn't intimidate anybody."
"Whenever there is one of these racially charged events, Al Sharpton goes wherever blacks need him," Schoep said. "We do similar things. We are a white civil rights organization."
He went to great lengths to contrast his organization with the New Black Panther Party, who he blamed for scaring local whites and spurring the need for NSM patrols. Schoep admits that the NSM and the Black Panthers are actually alike in that they are both racial separatists. But he sees a double-standard in the government's treatment of the two groups.
"The Black Panthers have been offering bounties and all that," he says. "But if we called for a bounty on someone's head, I guarantee we'd be locked up as quick as I could walk out of my house."

Schoep was also quick to clarify that he isn't taking sides in Trayvon Martin's controversial shooting. "That's for the courts to decide," he says. Besides, Schoep says, Zimmerman's not even white.
"I think there is some confusion going on," Schoep says. "A lot of people think that this guy who shot Trayvon was white... but he's half Hispanic or Cuban or something. He certainly doesn't look white to me."
To some, sending in the storm troops seems like a sure way to incite -- not prevent -- a race riot. But Schoep says that's way off base.
"We don't wish for things like that," he says. "But there have been race riots in Detroit and L.A... So we know those types of things happen."
"You can either be prepared or you can be blindsided," he adds. "This way, if something were to touch off a race riot, we'd already be in the area."

NYPD COP'S SHOT, SUSPECT CRITICAL AFTER APARTMENT SHOOTOUT By KIRSTAN CONLEY and LARRY CELONA

Two NYPD detectives were shot and third officer was injured early today during a shootout with a man barricaded inside his Brooklyn apartment, sources said.

The detectives, with the elite Emergency Service Unit, were both struck in the leg around 12:30 a.m. at 3301 Nostrand Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, said the sources.

Their wounds were not considered life threatening.

It was unclear how the third officer was injured, but sources said that officer’s injury was also not serious.

All three were rushed to Lutheran Hospital, the FDNY said.

A suspect was wounded multiple times in the incident, and was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, law enforcement sources said.

The wild scene began about 30 minutes earlier when the suspect got into a dispute in the lobby of the apartment building, sources said.

Cops were called after he showed a gun. By the time officers arrived, the suspect had barricaded himself in his sixth-floor apartment with his wife and child.

The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, spoke to cops through the door and agreed to let his wife and child leave, according to the sources.

But instead, he began firing at the cops.

His wife and child were not harmed.

Today there is no American news outlet factually covering the illegal actions of the sitting President of the United States in context. Nor is there one consistently exposing the laws his administration has flagrantly broken, though this corruption now demonstrably permeates every level of the federal system.

Attorneys General Tom Horne, Arizona; Pam Bondi, Florida; Sam Olens, Georgia; Bill Schuette, Michigan; Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma; Marty Jackley, South Dakota; Alan Wilson, South Carolina; Greg Abbott, Texas; and Ken Cuccinelli of Virginia produced a joint memo on March 5^th, 2012 detailing 21 blatant violations of law committed by the Obama administration.

By now it is unsurprising the media has by and large ignored this announcement though AG Cuccinelli did appear in an extended segment with CSPAN (the relevant segment can be found here) on March 18^th.

A presentation by WND’s Jerome Corsi to a standing-room-only crowd has convinced a New Jersey lawmaker and a local sheriff that the issue of President Obama’s eligibility for office “will have to be addressed.”

“The easiest way to put this to rest is to have the records unsealed,” Morris County Sheriff Ed Rochford told the Huffington Post in an email following the April 4 event in Morristown. “Mr. Corsi made a very convincing argument that President Obama may not be a natural born citizen of the United States.”

Likewise, New Jersey Assemblyman Anthony Bucco, R-Boonton, said Corsi’s speech leaves doubts about Obama’s citizenship status. He told the website it is not his place to determine whether Obama is a citizen, and he believes “a higher authority” must resolve the issue.

“I am not in a position to say what he put up on screen is demonstrative of evidence; that is for the court of law,” Bucco said. “This issue has not resolved itself. It won’t until some higher authority is involved.”

The evening was organized by Billy Baer and Dan Haggerty, who cohost the radio program “The Baer Haggerty Offensive” on Repatriot Radio broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM in Philadelphia. Corsi told a crowd of 250 people: “The mainstream media has not given this fair treatment. But this is not going away. We really don’t know who our president is.”

Presenting research from “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” and utilizing a MacBook to show documents on a screen, Corsi used Abode Illustrator software to separate the layers of the document released by the White House and zoomed in on irregularities that show the document is a “bad forgery.” In his presentation, he provided evidence of inconsistencies between Hawaii health officials’ statements that there was no long-form birth certificate and Obama’s release of the purported certificate, and discrepancies concerning the name of the hospital where Obama was said to have been born. Corsi reported that Obama may be using a fraudulent Social Security number. He explained the evidence suggests Obama’s Selective Service documentation is not genuine, and he also discussed the topic of Obama’s school transcripts – which have yet to be released.

“There were many other talking points that I can say raised ‘a red flag,’” Sheriff Rochford said after the event.

According to the report, Bucco said he wouldn’t oppose a requirement that presidential candidates provide evidence of citizenship before getting on the New Jersey ballot.

“I think everyone should be able to provide something that shows citizenship,” Bucco added.

Meanwhile, Bucco warned that the eligibility issue will not simply disappear.

“He’s sitting in the Oval Office and he’s running again,” he said. “Based on the information that this gentleman put out, it’s not going away. This will have to be answered at some time. It will have to be addressed.”

Sheriff Jeff Christopher of Sussex County, Delaware, when he was elected to the office in 2010, thought he was handpicked by the people to represent them as the highest-ranking law officer in the county. Instead, he has found himself in the middle of a fight for the future of American law enforcement as a result of a nationwide effort to abolish the sheriff’s office altogether.

It is one more example of federal and state governments ignoring the will of the people as well state laws. In the case of Delaware, the state’s own  constitution stipulates that the office of the sheriff is a constitutionally created position just like the secretary of state and the attorney general. Delaware’s Constitution states: “The sheriffs shall be conservators of the peace within the counties . . . in which they reside.”

This time it is Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, sending out mandates to commissioners informing them that their sheriffs no longer have arrest powers. In an opinion released Feb. 24, State Solicitor L.W. Lewis said that neither the state nor the common law grants arrest powers to the county sheriffs.

It would appear that Lewis is a little confused. The office of sheriff was created more than a century before the official founding of the United States. Delaware’s first sheriff took office in 1669.

Christopher tells AFP that the two administrations prior to his—as far back as 2000—began to notice a reduction in funding and the chipping away of powers of the office in general.

“Now my deputies and I have been relieved of all arrest powers and can’t even make a traffic stop,” he said. “Delaware has only three counties. . . The other two sheriffs . . . will not stand up with me” to prevent the elimination of county law enforcement, he said.

During an interview at the Las Vegas Sheriffs Conference in January, Christopher told AFP that the impotence of his office was brought home to him when he was hit in the eye and kicked by County Councilman Vance Phillips but was unable to arrest him.

Beau Biden’s questionable ruling against the longtime tradition of the sheriff being the highest ranking law enforcement officer in the county because of election by the people means the state’s usurpation of the office appears to be a forthcoming fact.

County spokesman Chip Guy announced, “The opinion from the attorney general’s office reinforces what has long been the position of the county [that] Delaware sheriffs and their deputies do not have arrest powers and are not in the same vein as state police or municipal officers.”
