LORD, PLEASE DELIVER US FROM CONGRESS TOO

And Please Deliver us from Congress, Too, Oh Lord

Maybe 15 terms in Congress is enough.
In at least one case, we now have proof that it’s more than enough.
California Rep. Darrell Issa finally confirmed today what has been generally known for a long while: Even as Democrats were promised to get to the bottom of the scandal surrounding sup-prime mortgage loans, a least one top Democrat was working hard to cover-up the names of Democrats who got favors from Countrywide Financial Corp. Countrywide was the biggest abuser of sub-prime mortgages and was one of the main culprits in the housing collapse that eventually infected the rest of the economy.
According to the Associated Press, Rep. Edolphus Towns, D-N.Y, “overrode his own subpoena three years ago in an investigation of former sub-prime mortgage lender Countrywide Financial Corp. to exclude records showing that he, other House members and congressional aides got VIP discounted loans from the company, documents show.

The procedure to keep the names secret was devised by …Towns. In 2003, the 15-term congressman had two loans processed by Countrywide's VIP section, which was established to give discounts to favored borrowers.”
Wow.
This comes as a big surprise.
Imagine: The guy whose job it is to police the United States House of Representatives from conflicts of interest, ethical challenges and other practices that abuse citizens and taxpayers, would himself use his unassailable incumbency to get a pay-off. He took favors from industries that he and his fellow members were so anxious to regulate in order to protect us from “predatory lenders.” In turn, those lenders got their hunting license directly from Congress; from guys just like Town.
I find this hard to believe.
Not the general set-up, but that Towns only took two loans.
Towns at the time was the, um, chairman of the House Oversight Committee. Talk about predatory.
Kind of like the morally-impaired leading the morally-challenged.
And a con-man shall lead them… because it was his turn to.
But the chairmanship under Towns had to be worth more than just two VIP loans to a Congressman-for-life, ranking member, writer of 408 bad checks on the House Bank; the man who won his last campaign with 91 percent of the vote.
Chicago politics was perfected in Chicago, but Brooklyn has a very long and dishonorable history in graft, greed and general machine-inspired corruption.
And Towns fits that mold.
He uses taxpayer dollars to lease a Mercury Milan hybrid at a cost to taxpayers of $1,285 per month according to the New York Post. The total lease will cost taxpayers more than the MSRP price of $28,180 says the Post:
At $1,285 per month, Towns’ 2-year lease on a 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid for tooling around his district will cost taxpayers more than $30,000 — enough to buy the vehicle new.
“That’s too much!” roared a salesman at a Ford dealership in Brooklyn that sold and leased Mercuries before Ford discontinued the brand.
“That price is for a big, luxury truck . . . like a Lincoln MKT,” which sold for about $49,000 in 2010, said the salesman, who didn’t want to be identified as he talked about a congressman’s spending.
Just more “green” policy chaff from the Democrats that helps everyone except citizens and taxpayers.
FYI to government economists: A lease is supposed to be less expensive than buying, healthcare reform is supposed improve healthcare; deficit reduction is supposed to reduce the deficit; an energy policy is supposed to make energy cheap, plentiful and stable.
Perhaps there was some sort of a VIP program on that lease too.
The good news is that Towns announced he is retiring from Congress after this term expires in 2012.
The bad news is that the district will likely vote in another Congressman-for-life, who will hang on long enough for his turn at the trough; a writer of bad-bills, who will figure other ways of bilking voters and taxpayers while helping provide the moral tone for the nation.
So please, this election year, deliver us from Congress, too, oh Lord.

CONSTITUTION NO DEFENSE AGAINST CORRUPTION, CRONYISM

There have been suspicions of corruption and cronyism at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport since Maynard Jackson became Atlanta’s first black mayor in 1973, with complaints that vendors trying to obtain business there simply were passed over in favor of a connected group of insiders.

At one point – in November 2004 – a poll by the Atlanta firm Insider Advantage found that two-thirds of respondents, when questioned about “awarding contracts and vendor rights,” thought the city’s airport process was “politically motivated and corrupt.”
At that time, former state Attorney General Mike Bowers declared, “This poll just shows what most people already know – that the airport administration is corrupt as hell.”
It seems like things haven’t gotten any better.
A 2011 white paper researched by Kennesaw State University Professor Kerwin Swint and commissioned by Common Cause Georgia documents a litany of favoritism, bid-rigging and corruption under mayors since Jackson. It reveals that the airport is essentially a “money pot” that is the underpinning of mayoral power.
The closest that the situation came to being blown open was when Atlanta-based Corey Airport Services, owned by businessman Billy Corey, fought the system.
As the best bidder for Hartsfield-Jackson’s extremely lucrative advertising contract, Corey Airport Services (along with a minority partner) was passed over in 2002 in favor of Clear Channel and its millionaire minority partner, Barbara Fouch.
Former Atlanta television reporter Dale Cardwell says Fouch “had absolutely no airport advertising credentials. What she did have was connections to city hall. Court testimony showed she was literally handed her share of the contract … through her friendship with then-Mayor Jackson.”
But Corey sued the city, Clear Channel and Fouch in federal court, investing approximately $5 million in the lengthy legal fight. He also commissioned a huge truck to periodically roam the city with giant signage blaring “Report Airport Corruption” – complete with a telephone number to call.
The July 27, 2010, Fulton Daily Report noted that, in closing court arguments, Corey attorney Jeffrey Harris reminded the jury that witnesses had revealed “the seedy, steamy side of how contracts out at the airport get into people’s possession.”
The newspaper reported Harris emphasized that the trial was about whether the city and its airport officials treated bidders for city business fairly.
The jury ruled they didn’t, and agreed that evidence of airport corruption and cronyism was overwhelming. Corey won a jury verdict of $17.5 million.
U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell even remarked that the city engaged in an “evil” conspiracy with Clear Channel and Fouch against Corey.
But within months, reputable Atlanta minority firms were passed over because of what they alleged were the same barriers faced by Corey. The award-winning engineering firm Precision 2000 (a certified female and Hispanic minority construction firm), partnered with Plateau Excavation, were the lowest bidders for an airport runway extension project.
They were rejected by the city, yet the recommended bidder was $3,946,458 above Precision 2000. The losers charged the contract went to a friend of Mayor Kasim Reed.
The city soon settled with Corey using taxpayer money while Clear Channel and Fouch appealed the jury verdict. Cardwell describes what happened next, just weeks ago.
“The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals decided that despite overwhelming evidence, Mr. Corey didn’t deserve the protection of the U.S. Constitution. Why? Mr. Corey was not part of a protected ‘class’ of Americans. You see, federal judges follow a code called precedent. If it hasn’t happened before, judges are extremely reluctant to create a ‘first.’
“In the past 50 years,” Cardwell notes, “federal judges have agreed to protect Americans based on age, sex, race, national origin, disability and religious affiliation. Those are our current protected ‘classes.’ The tragedy is the three-judge federal panel ruled it should not spend its time protecting everyday citizens like Billy Corey.”
Outrage and calls for Hartsfield-Jackson bidding reform were widespread, ranging from the fiscally conservative Fulton County Taxpayers Foundation to the liberal-leaning Common Cause of Georgia.
But to this day Cardwell reports that Reed and his city council majority still have never rebid the advertising contract held by Clear Channel and Fouch.
“A sad commentary,” he concludes.
Cronyism at the airport intensified after Corey’s loss, according to a series of stinging reports by WSB-TV’s Richard Belcher and WAGA-TV’s Dale Russell. They reported on who received contracts for 125 food and beverage concession stands as well as 27 retail locations at the airport’s new international terminal, which opened in spring 2012.
Atlanta Progressive News said at the time: “Reed continued his practice of closed-door politics, insisting upon secrecy in almost every aspect of the bidding process, raising numerous disputes surrounding the Georgia Open Records Act.”
WAGA-TV reported one major firm, Delaware North, submitted bids with errors yet was allowed by the city to rebid. It found the company was connected to Dan Halpern, Reed’s 2009 campaign adviser. Delaware North also contributed more than $22,000 to Reed.
Furthermore, the station counted up more than $80,000 in donations to Reed from owners or employees of several airport concession companies which received contracts. District 9 Councilwoman Felicia Moore also told Atlanta Progressive News that Reed submitted to council the terminal concession contracts for approval “in the middle of the night prior to the vote.”
Corey told the Atlanta Constitution in a Sept. 27, 2009, interview that the airport’s bid process is heavily tilted in favor of powerful mayoral insiders he called “royalty.”
Former TV reporter Cardwell said that remains the case: “It is still the royals versus the regular people. The royals control it, and outside businesses don’t have the opportunity to do business there.”

GENOCIDE LOOMS FOR WHITE AFRICAN FARMERS

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The eyes of the world were on South Africa two decades ago as the apartheid era came to an end and Western governments helped bring the communist-backed African National Congress to power.

Last month, however, when Genocide Watch chief Gregory Stanton declared that white South African farmers were facing a genocidal onslaught and that communist forces were taking over the nation, virtually nobody noticed.
Few outside of South Africa paid attention either when, earlier this year, the president of South Africa began publicly singing songs advocating the murder of whites.
The silence is so deafening that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t even publicly mention the problems when she was there last week. Instead, she was busy dancing, pledging billions of dollars and praising the ruling government.
“I find that quite disturbing, as if Afrikaner lives do not count for the Obama administration,” Dan Roodt of the Pro-Afrikaans Action Group, PRAAG, told WND.
He says the situation is rapidly deteriorating.
Genocide Watch, a highly respected U.S.-based nonprofit organization led by arguably the world’s foremost expert on genocide, has been sounding the alarm on the genocidal onslaught facing South Africa for a decade. The world media, however, has barely uttered a word about it.
Over those 10 years, thousands of white South African farmers, known as Boers, have been massacred in the most horrific ways imaginable.
Experts say the ongoing slaughter constitutes a clear effort to exterminate the whites or at least drive the remaining ones – now less than 10 percent of the population – out of the country. In other words, South Africa is facing a genocide based on the United Nations’ own definition.
More than 3,000 farm murders have been documented in that time period, representing a significant number considering the number of commercial white farmers is now estimated at less than 40,000.
Tens of thousands of whites have been murdered throughout South Africa, too, according to estimates.
Disemboweled, drowned in boiling water
Many more victims have been savagely tortured, raped, disemboweled, drowned in boiling water or worse. The horrifying evidence is available for the world to see on countless sites throughout the Internet: pictures of brutalized dead women and children – even babies.
“We don’t know exactly who is planning them yet, but what we are calling for is an international investigation that will try and determine who is planning these murders,” Stanton said.
The ANC government downplays the problem, claiming it is mostly just “regular” crime. Experts, however, know that is not true.
“Things of this sort are what I have seen before in other genocides,” Stanton, who also worked against apartheid, said of the murdered white farmers after a fact-finding mission to the “Rainbow Nation” in June.
“This is what has happened in Burundi, it’s what happened in Rwanda,” he continued in a speech to the Transvaal Agricultural Union in Pretoria. “It has happened in many other places in the world.”
The true scope of the problem is almost impossible to determine, because the ruling ANC refuses to properly track the figures.
Regular citizens are now working to compile the statistics and document the savagery themselves.
The government often classifies the brutal farm murders as simple “robberies,” for example. Sometimes the crimes are not even reported.
South African exiles and family members of victims who spoke with WND said reporting the atrocities is often useless or even counter-productive.
In some cases, experts also say, authorities are actually involved in the brutal crimes. Police oftentimes participate in cover-ups, too.
The non-stop wave of grisly, racist murders in the Rainbow Nation – new incidents are reported almost daily now – has led Genocide Watch to conclude that South Africa is close to the final phases of the genocidal onslaught.
When ANC Youth League boss Julius Malema began singing “Kill the Boer,” Genocide Watch moved up South Africa to stage six out of eight on the road to genocide – the preparation and planning. The seventh phase is extermination of the target group. The final stage is denial.
“It became clear to us that the [(ANC) Youth League was this kind of organization – it was planning this kind of genocidal massacre and also the forced displacement of whites from South Africa,” Stanton explained.
When a court declared the racist song “hate speech” for inciting genocide against whites, the self-styled communist president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, began singing it too.
Dehumanization
It is all part of a vicious campaign of dehumanization aimed at whites, according to experts. Demonizing the victims always precedes genocide.
Known as Boers or Afrikaners, the descendants of Northern Europeans, mostly Dutch, arrived in Southern Africa hundreds of years ago, in some cases as far back as the 1600s. Still, racists refer to them as “settlers,” implying they do not belong there.
“Whenever you have that kind of dehumanization,” Stanton explained, “you have the beginning of that downward spiral into genocide.”
The National Socialists (Nazis) did it in Germany, and the Islamists did it in Turkey before exterminating Armenian Christians, he added.
The government, meanwhile, has already launched a campaign to disarm Afrikaner farmers. As Genocide Watch observed in a recent report on South Africa, disarmament of the target group is one of the surest warning signs of impending genocide.
Whites have not been the only victims. Even before apartheid was dismantled, the ANC was notoriously brutal to its opponents, using some of the most barbaric tactics imaginable even against blacks who refused to bow down.
Necklacing, in which a tire filled with gasoline is placed around a victim’s neck and set on fire, for example, became a common form of punishment for dissenters and ANC opponents. Even Nelson Mandela’s wife endorsed the monstrous practice.
Beyond genocide against whites lurks another largely overlooked but related phenomenon: the efforts by communist forces to completely take over South Africa.
It is hardly a secret. The Communist Party of South Africa has always has been a firm ally of the ANC. Both of the last two presidents have been members of the Communist Party.
As in Zimbabwe after Marxist dictator Robert Mugabe seized power, the issue of land distribution is being used to advance the same dangerous agenda in South Africa.
“Whatever system of land tenure is adopted in South Africa, the communists – in the long run – have in mind to take away all private property. That should never be forgotten,” Stanton warned during his recent trip.
The idea, he said, is to crush all potential resistance.
“Every place you go where communists have taken over, they take away private ownership because private ownership gives people the power – the economic power – to oppose their government,” Stanton continued. “Once you have taken that away, there is no basis on which you can have the economic power to oppose the government.”
While the outside world largely refuses to understand or even acknowledge what is really going on, white South Africans are keenly aware of what awaits the nation if the communist schemes are not stopped.
“The ANC regime has publicly stated that it wants to nationalize all land, in effect doing away with private property when it comes to agricultural land,” explained PRAAG’s Roodt.
“The Communist Party has always been the real intellectual home of the ANC, and even government ministers call each other ‘comrade’ in public,” he added.
Land redistribution
Since the end of Apartheid, the ANC government has been working to redistribute land – much of which is still currently owned by the white minority – to blacks and others.
As in neighboring Zimbabwe, once one of the wealthiest nations in Africa, the schemes have mostly resulted in failure. Under Mugabe, who gave the stolen land to his cronies, estimates suggest millions of people have died from starvation. Others fled, ironically, perhaps, to South Africa.
Now, the ANC wants to speed up the land reform process. Some elements within the government are even advocating forced expropriation without any compensation.
The farm murders, analysts say, are the early phases of what may be coming.
“More and more, the ANC regime’s supporters are turning to violence and revolution to achieve their aims of taking control over land and industry,” Roodt explained.
“Over the last few days there has been an increase in attacks on family owned farms with the intent of driving owners off their land,” he continued, echoing a widespread sentiment among South Africans that the situation is quickly spiraling out of control.
“Hit squads target specifically women and elderly farmers as they are seen as soft targets,” he added. The government also disbanded farmer self-defense groups known as “commandos” that formerly protected rural areas.
According to Roodt, South Africa, like every country during a communist takeover, is being deliberately destabilized. Ethnic and racial tensions are being purposefully stirred up as part of the scheme as well, he said.
“The ANC regime has failed completely to create jobs for its mass of supporters,” Roodt told WND. “So it is using the white minority as a scapegoat, blaming them for its own economic failures due to corruption, mismanagement, nationalization, racial preferences and so on.”
Roodt says the “revolution” could drag on, slowly, with a lot of talk but little action. On the other hand, there could be a sudden, radical shift such as what happened in Zimbabwe, where white farmers who refused to be driven off their land were tortured or murdered.
There could even be a Rwanda-type situation in which whites would be targeted for wholesale slaughter, Roodt warned.
Sadists encouraging sadists
“Anything is possible,” he added, saying the ruling government was very similar to an organized criminal enterprise. “What is going on in South Africa today with the rape and killing of children, torture or farmers and racial violence, is tantamount to a sadistic society. We are ruled by sadists who encourage other sadists to go out to rape and kill.”
No matter how bad it gets, however, Roodt and other South Africans fear that the world will shut its eyes and wash its hands.
“To many people in the West, especially liberals and leftists, I think it is seen as normal for blacks to hate whites and oppress them,” he explained. “Because of their historical guilt associated with colonialism, whites are deemed to deserve punishment, even of the most extreme kind such as torture and mass murder.”
Even in South Africa, the press is largely silent about what is going on. Consider that after Stanton announced his preliminary findings in late June – explosive by any measure – just one newspaper covered it.
Many white South Africans believe that time may be running out. Some want their own country in Southern Africa to preserve the unique Afrikaner culture, language and civilization. Others are currently working with Western governments in an effort to raise awareness and hopefully allow especially vulnerable populations to escape as refugees before the festering tensions explode into a full-blown catastrophe. More than a few, though, have vowed to stay and fight back if and when the time comes.
For now, activists, exiles and human rights leaders told WND they hope Americans will help spread the word about the looming potential calamities facing South Africa. If the ANC gets its way, they say, it will be an unmitigated disaster for whites, blacks – basically everyone except politically connected cronies.
by WP:  Unfortunately the people of South Africa are looking to the wrong nation for help or media reporting.  Our own media is busy promoting and fomenting a form of genocide of the American people by their stirring up of racial tensions and refusal to report truthfully what is happening in America.  We ourselves will soon be facing genocide by federals and United Nations troops if this tyrant government is not removed from control.

NEW MEXICO'S SUPREME COURT TO REVIEW FINE FOR FAITH

Posted by Woody Pendleton

FREE ZONE MEDIA CENTER  WFZR/TV

Just weeks after Judge Tim L. Garcia in the New Mexico Court of Appeals said states can require Christians to violate their faith to do business, the justices on the state Supreme Court have agreed to review the dispute between a lesbian and a photographer.
In a procedural notification signed by Joey D. Moya, the chief clerk of the New Mexico Supreme Court, the owners of Elane Photography and Vanessa Willock were told of the next step in the long-standing case, a schedule for briefs to be filed with the high court.

At issue is the demand from Willock and her then-partner that Elane Photography, owned and operated by Christians, provide their artistic talents for a same-sex commitment ceremony, even though the state does not recognize either civil unions or “marriage” between parties of the same sex.
The photographer company declined, based on its owners’ Christian beliefs, and Willock brought a discrimination complaint, which was upheld at lower levels in the court system.
“Americans in the marketplace should not be subjected to legal attacks for simply abiding by their beliefs,” said Jordan Lorence, senior counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom. “We trust the New Mexico Supreme Court will agree because the government should not be allowed to force this photographer to promote a message that violates her conscience.
“The Constitution clearly prohibits the state from forcing unwilling artists to advance a message with which they disagree,” he said.
The ADF had appealed the decision from Garcia that affirmed the decision of the state Human Rights Commission, which had ruled against the Christian photographer who runs her business with her husband.
The commission ruled that the company was guilty of “sexual orientation” discrimination under state anti-discrimination laws.
The case erupted in 2006 after Vanessa Willock asked Elaine Huguenin – co-owner with her husband, Jon Huguenin, of Elane Photography in Albuquerque – to photograph a “commitment ceremony” that Willock and another woman wanted to hold in Taos.
Elaine Huguenin declined, and the woman found someone else. The decision by the photographer came because the ceremony would have been in violation of her religious faith.
Willock then took the complaint to the Human Rights Commission, which held a one-day trial and ordered in 2008 that the photographer pay more than $6,600 in attorneys’ fees to Willock.
The lower court explained in a 45-page opinion that a photographer is a “public accommodation” and must comply with “sexual orientation” nondiscrimination laws.
“The owners of Elane Photography must accept the reasonable regulations and restrictions imposed upon the conduct of their commercial enterprise despite their personal religious beliefs that may conflict with these governmental interests,” the lower court wrote.
The district court decision had come from Alan M. Malott.
Malott’s ruling said the Christian owners were compelled to photograph the ceremony for Willock and Misty Pascottini because of the state’s interest in preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation.
“Once one offers a service publicly, they must do so without impermissible exception,” the judge originally on the case wrote. “Therefore, plaintiff could refuse to photograph animals or even small children, just as an architect could design only commercial buildings and not private residences. Neither animals, nor small children, nor private residences are protected classes,” he wrote.
When the district judge’s decision arrived, it seemed to substantiate the concerns of opponents of a federal “hate crimes” bill signed into law by President Obama during his first year in office that gives homosexuals special rights. Attorney General Eric Holder admitted in a congressional hearing that under the measure an attack on a homosexual would be dealt with differently than one on another citizen.
Benjamin Bull, chief counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, noted at that time, “Homosexuals got exactly what they wanted. In the marketplace of ideas, one side has now been censored. This [situation] is exactly what homosexual activists have in mind.”
Interestingly, a subsequent poll revealed that almost half of Americans believe that Christians in the United States are being persecuted by homosexual “marriage” advocates who take legal action against them over their religious beliefs, and almost one in three Democrats believes such persecution is “necessary,” according to the alarming results of a poll.
The results are from a WND/WENZEL Poll conducted for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies.
It found that 49.2 percent of all respondents consider the legal activism against Christians and their beliefs regarding homosexuality to be “persecution.”
The question was, “There is a trend developing in which gay activists are filing lawsuits against people who refuse to do business with them on moral/religious grounds – such as when a New Mexico photographer was sued by a lesbian couple for refusing to photograph their wedding. Knowing this, which of the following statements most closely represents what you think about this?”
More than two of three Republicans called it “persecution of Christians,” along with 45 percent of independents. Even 33.1 percent of Democrats had the same answer.
But 31 percent of Democrats, as well as 12 percent of Republicans and 24 percent of independents, said, “Such tactics are necessary.”
by wp:  this shows the limits that the gay community will go to spread their hatred against non-gays.  It also shows how supposedly godly people are showing their true outlook which is self serving rather than serving GOD.  Is there any wonder why God has removed his protection and blessing from the United States of America?  We have experienced several chastisements from God and ignored them.  It will not be so easy to ignore what is coming in the next 7 months.  Especially right after novembers election.  If the Church does not wake up and repent obama will be re-elected and all HELL will break loose.

HOW TO WIN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

How to Win a Presidential Election

How to Win a Presidential Election

The mainstream media claims independents, the great unwashed in the middle, decide presidential elections. Conservative orthodoxy claims otherwise. Who is correct? The answer is they both are to an extent. Let’s face it, the mainstream media detests grassroots conservatives, therefore it will advance any dogma that seeks to marginalize the base of the Republican Party they absolutely loathe—whether it’s true or not. Since the Republican Party establishment hates us as much as the media does, and doesn’t want you aware of just how much sway you hold over the process, they dutifully play along in dispersing the DNC propagandist talking points. On the other hand, to compensate for this slight, I think conservative orthodoxy has overlooked the importance of reaching independents to win a national election. This debate is a lot like what’s going on in our evangelical churches nowadays, with some churches focused on evangelism and others focused on discipleship, as if these are mutually exclusive properties when they’re really part of the same process. The first step in the discipleship process is conversion, which requires evangelism. However, the process doesn’t begin and end there, but must continue to mature and grow those converted. Evangelism and discipleship are not competing church missions, but rather complement each other to complete the church’s mission. This explains why you’ll often see churches out of balance resemble certain stereotypes. Those focused too much on evangelism at the expense of discipleship will often look younger, trendier, and have a more spiritually shallow and transient church population. Mature believers at these churches often feel left behind while the church leadership is always looking for the next wave of new attendees, and then they often bolt for more discipleship-focused churches as a result. Churches focused on discipleship too much at the expense of evangelism will often look older, corporate, and have consistent attendance by the same families who are growing in their faith but not effective in reaching out to others. Baptisms are too rare at these churches, or too often the baptisms taking place are the children of the families who have been coming all along. You could leave that church and return in six months, and see many of the exact same people there. Similarly, Republican presidential candidates often make the mistake of playing conservatives in their own base and independents off of one another as if they’re competing with each other. The successful Republican presidential candidate recognizes he needs both of these groups to complement each other in order to form a coalition of voters capable of winning the election. He doesn’t play them off of each other, but rather secures one and then launches an effort to reach the independents without having to defend his rear flank. This explains why Republican candidates who win over the conservative base in the primary win presidential elections, and Republican candidates that fail to do so don’t. The latter ends up fighting a two-front war all the way to November, triangulating himself against both the Democrat (and the biased media) and his own base. That candidate then becomes embittered by his base’s unwillingness to trust him just because the Democrat is so bad, so he’ll sanctimoniously send his surrogates out to essentially lecture these people to accept a crap sandwich and like it. By the way, that strategy has never worked. What has worked is a candidate whose conservative bona fides are tested in the primary and accepted by the majority of conservatives in the grassroots. Once securing the nomination, that candidate is now free to speak to the issues that drive independents to the polls because his rear flank is secure. He’s playing offense in November, and even trying to pick off soft supporters of his opponent. For further proof this is correct, look no further than the election results themselves. Since 1892, only five incumbent presidents have failed to win re-election, and the only one that didn’t face a divided base was Herbert Hoover. But Hoover did face the Great Depression. William Howard Taft faced a third party challenge from fellow Republican Teddy Roosevelt in the general election. Gerald Ford in 1976 (Ronald Reagan), Jimmy Carter in 1980 (Ted Kennedy), and George H.W. Bush in 1992 (Pat Buchanan) each faced credible primary challengers and each lost the general election. Because they never won over their own base, they never were able to focus on reaching independents in the fall campaign. Presidential candidates cannot win an election fighting a two-front war. That’s especially true for Republican candidates, because they face the onslaught of Democrat P.R. disguised as media coverage as well. There’s even more data to support this. I will focus on just one key voting bloc since I’m the most familiar with this group—white born-again Christians. Since the mainstream media’s secular bias makes it beyond ignorant when it comes to covering this group, exit polling going back decades refers to them by several terms such as “evangelicals” and even the “Religious Right.” Not all born-again Christians are evangelicals, and some are evangelicals without even knowing what that term means. Some born-again Christians are Catholics and some are mainline Protestants. But this is a group that a Republican needs to win, and win by a wide margin in order to win the presidency, because on average they represent about 40% of the American electorate in any given presidential election. For example, take a look at the 2008 election. John McCain beat Barack Obama by 15 points among born-again Christians, but that was nine points less than the 24-point margin George W. Bush got over John Kerry in 2004, and Bush needed every one of them to pull off a close election. Had Bush’s base deserted him even marginally, Kerry would’ve been elected. A marriage amendment on the ballot in the key swing state of Ohio turned out born-again Christians heavily in that state, thus giving Bush the margin he needed to win the Electoral College. By turning out his base, that helped Bush at least compete with Kerry for independents. In 2000, Bush beat Al Gore by 15 points among born-again Christians, but got a higher turnout of those voters than McCain got in 2008. That was enough to withstand losing the popular vote to Gore, and losing late-deciding independents who flocked to Gore because of an Election Eve story about Bush’s 1976 drunk driving arrest. Meanwhile, Obama overcame a 15-point loss among born-again Christians to McCain by massively turning out the Democrat base, including the traditionally sketchy youth vote. Since born-again Christians were first mobilized as a political force for born-again Christian Jimmy Carter in 1976, only one Republican has won the White House without at least 60% of the white born-again Christian vote. When you consider he did so despite losing the overall popular vote, that further reinforces just how difficult that is to do and how important this voting bloc is to Republican presidential candidates. That leads to two conclusions. Conclusion #1: The actual data confirms the GOP base has much more influence in the outcome of presidential general elections than either the Republican Party establishment or the liberal media wants to admit. Conclusion #2: Since establishment candidates Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney have won three of the last four contested presidential primaries, the conservative grassroots in the GOP base has not done a good enough job of capitalizing on its cache. Here’s the election-by-election breakdown:
1976 Ford 50% Carter 50% 1980 Reagan 61% Carter 34% 1984 Reagan 78% Mondale 22% 1988 H.W. Bush 81% Dukakis 18% 1992 H.W. Bush 59% Clinton 21% 19% of born-again Christian vote went to Ross Perot, and the vast majority of that likely would’ve gone to H.W. America’s Newest Vaccination

America’s Newest Vaccination
UPI FILE
In 2006, Louisiana National Guard troops took to the streets of New Orleans to stem rising crime in the area, which had begun to repopulate after Hurricane Katrina flooded more than 80 percent of the city in 2005.
In medicine under the germ theory of disease, vaccinations are supposed to provide immunity by introducing the disease to the body in small doses, allowing the body to build up its “germ-fighting” abilities. Of course, this is not so, as I pointed out last week.
But that theory is now being employed on Americans in another way that has nothing to do with medicine and everything to do with control. Americans are being “vaccinated” into acceptance of martial law and military rule.
Military vehicles from the U.S. Army Reserve patrolling the streets of Sheboygan County in Wisconsin that began Aug. 5 and will continue through Aug. 17 are part of a “training exercise,” according to Captain William Geddes of the 200th Military Police Command at Fort Mead, Md. But those soldiers have already “trained” in the use of the M117 Armored Security Vehicles in Afghanistan. So the training is more to train the American public.
Geddes said the U.S. Army Reserve wanted to alert to the public — but apparently not those in local government — ahead of the training so they wouldn’t be alarmed when a pack of heavily armored military vehicles is driving around.
Remember, there is nothing to see here. Just move along.
This is just the latest in a series of ongoing violations of the Posse Comitatus Act, which is supposed to prevent the military from engaging in domestic law enforcement activities. Recent “vaccinations” include:
Their frequency is increasing.
Similarly, local police departments are becoming increasingly militarized and the Department of Homeland Security is purchasing more and more military-grade weapons, ammunition and hardware.
On Jan. 1, President Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which legalized the indefinite detention of Americans and suspended habeas corpus. And although Federal Judge Katherine Forrest issued a preliminary injunction in May that prevented the Obama Administration from exercising the indefinite detention authority, that injunction has been appealed by the Obama Administration a fact ignored by the mainstream media.
The USA PATRIOT Act, passed in the aftermath of the false flag 9/11 attacks, (see also Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth) essentially stripped Americans of their 4th and much of their 1nd Amendment rights. While it was proposed by George W. Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress, it was approved by both Republicans and Democrats. It has since been reauthorized three times — again by both Republicans and Democrats.
Americans can now be assassinated by the President on a whim. Unemployment has been above 8 percent for 42 months. Gas prices are rising again. Food prices worldwide are rising and food shortages are a real possibility, thanks to excessive heat and drought conditions across the United States.
Welfare is the only thing staving off mass riots and the complete breakdown of law and order. There are now more than 100 million Americans — or almost a third of the U.S. populationreceiving some sort of Federal welfare. More than 54 million Americans are on Medicaid, and more than 45 million Americans are on food stamps.
Social Security recipients who have defaulted on student loans are having their Social Security checks docked. Their retirement and pension funds are stagnant at best. The Federal Reserve has kept interest rates at near zero for more than four years. This is a war on and destruction of American savers and retirees. Once these retirees begin seeing cuts to their Social Security checks and trying to buy more expensive food, gas and medicine with less money, something will have to give.
Clearly, the stage is being set for the imposition of martial law. The government is using false flag mass shootings to grease the skids for gun confiscation, the threat of homegrown terror attacks to overturn Posse Comitatus once and for all and false flag FBI-orchestrated terror threats to keep the fear factor high.
The Founding Fathers feared a standing army as much as they feared anything that could take away liberties. That’s the main purpose behind the 2nd Amendment.
The collapse — or what I call the Great Reset — is coming. The elites are preparing for it by stocking up on weapons and inoculating Americans into acceptance of military rule.

Obama Says: Doctor, You Did Not Graduate From Medical School

The reason that President Obama uses teleprompters, even when addressing elementary school children, is because he cannot help but reveal who he is and what he believes during moments that involve real spontaneity. He no doubt wishes that he had gotten a “mulligan” for that line that he inadvertently delivered: “you did not build that business”, but it says so much about the man, his agenda, and why he feels the moral superiority to enact it.
Some dismissed the comment, while others called it a Freudian slip. But devotees of Freud maintain that a “slip” is actually caused by an unconscious or repressed wish, feeling or train of thought.
Poker players I know call it a “tell”. I believe it was simply Obama telling America, in a brief moment of honesty, what he really believed about the individual, and their relationship to the state.
You did not build that business” revealed the antipathy that the president harbors for the individual, especially successful ones. No one is bigger than the state, and hence all that an individual achieves, the government has some claim to- whether it is your wealth, your intellectual property, or you.
Why would President Obama tell the American people lies about doctors, such as “...doctors would rather take out tonsils than treat a sore throat because it pays better” or “… doctors would rather cut off legs for $50,000 than take care of a diabetic before it got to this point”?
It is because he believes that doctors owe fealty to the government for what they have accomplished. Everyone has claim to their success. People need to see them for what they really are- rich, money driven mercenaries. He also needs to denigrate them in order for his agenda to succeed.
“Listen up”, he was saying to doctors. You did not achieve straight A’s in college, working into the late night and on weekends, while your roommates were out partying. Those grades could not have happened without the schools, paid for in part with Federal aid.
You did not graduate from medical school, putting in thousands more hours of studying and hard work. The government subsidized part of the school; your degree belongs to us all.
You did not complete your surgical residency, devoting tens of thousands of hours over 6-9 years, learning your craft and honing your skills, sacrificing your personal life in doing so. No, the government was right there, sending money to the hospitals where you learned how to become a surgeon. You could not have done this without Uncle Sam.
You did not succeed in your medical practice, working on average 60-80 hours every week, missing children’s birthday parties, anniversaries, soccer games and school plays. You did not pay exorbitant malpractice insurance rates to protect yourself from those who wish to prey on your ill-gotten gains.
You did not perform that life-saving cancer operation. The government was there every step of the way and made it possible for that to have happened. Why, the very road that you traveled to get to the hospital that day was built by all of the taxpayers.
And that gang banger that you treated in the emergency room for free in the middle of the night, which the government forced you to see, thanks to the EMTALA law, was something that they felt entitled to take from you- your time and skill- because they own a piece of you.
Herein is the essence of President Obama’s ideology. It is one that not only diminishes personal achievement, but goes on to claim that the fruits that are borne out of the toil leading to that achievement are to be shared with the state and hence everyone.
Obamacare is rooted in this philosophy. The doctors who are being counted upon to care for patients are merely footnotes in this massive new bureaucracy. The healthcare system is being turned upside down with the federal government in charge of deciding who gets what kind of care, by whom, where and how much they will pay for it. Those who engineered Obamacare believe that they can do this because they feel that they own a piece of every doctor in America and that the government has a right to this work.
It becomes easier to do this by convincing Americans that healthcare is an entitlement, and consequently, someone has to provide that care for them. It becomes easier for people to feel that sense of entitlement, if they believe that their doctors are not the compassionate individuals that they thought they were, but rather, greedy opportunists like the President has depicted them.
On the current path, the worst is yet to come. Doctors are quitting in anticipation of government controlling their practices. Doctor shortages are here, but will soon reach epic proportions. Covert rationing of care is coming because there will not be enough doctors to see patients.
There is still time to change course, but the window of opportunity is quickly closing. November 6 will be a referendum on what kind of America we want to have- one where personal achievement is valued, or one where everyone lays claim to those achievements.

SAME-SEX THOUGHT POLICE??

Same-Sex Marriage Thought Police?

Same-Sex Marriage Thought Police?

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Activists would have us believe that the issue of marriage is about the “rights” and “equality” of homosexuals. But in reality, the push to redefine marriage is about demanding public approval and celebration of homosexuality. There is a difference. Slot machines are legal in some areas, but if the COO of Chick-fil-a had expressed a personal disapproval of gambling, would slot-machine supporters have demanded a boycott of his restaurants? What about smokers? Would they have lambasted Dan Cathy for expressing that he personally does not approve of smoking? No. Because at the end of the day, gamblers want the right to gamble, and smokers want the right to smoke cigarettes. Both groups, however, have accepted the fact that not everyone approves of their choice to do these things. But LGBT activists are not satisfied with being able to “love whomever they want.” California public schools have already altered their curricular requirements to begin mandatory discussion of LGBT lifestyles beginning in Kindergarten. If homosexual marriage becomes the law of the land, you can expect such curriculum mandates to pop up in every state. If you need more proof that LGBT activists want more than just a marriage license from you, look no further than the mandatory LGBT “sensitivity” training programs that are appearing all over the nation. Not only are countless corporations holding training for their employees to affirm and welcome the LGBT lifestyles, but universities are also using their power to force their students to sit through similar sessions. There is nothing wrong with teaching students and employees to treat all individuals with respect and dignity, but these training programs typically go far beyond that. At the heart of virtually all “sensitivity” training is the assumption that sexual behavior is an inborn instinct, not a choice for which one is accountable. Anyone who believes otherwise is deemed homophobic and pressured or bullied to change his or her opinion. In July, Georgetown University expelled Jarrett Roby from their Community Scholars Program which, according to the university, “provides Georgetown students with the unique opportunity to thrive. Scholars are carefully selected during the admissions process based on their academic achievement, impressive co-curricular accomplishments, and commitment to the transformative power of education. They typically represent diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, and are often first generation college students.” And Jarrett Roby was a perfect candidate for CSP: a graduate of Urban Preparatory Academy in Chicago, the all black male charter school which has achieved a 100% college acceptance rate for its students three years in a row. What did Roby do to get expelled from the program? He was uncomfortable attending the LGBT sensitivity training; when he approached his Resident Assistant privately about his discomfort, his concerns were dismissed and he was informed he would be punished for not attending the seminar. Later, a few other students confronted Roby, calling him close-minded for not wanting to attend. Roby spoke in his own defense, and the debate died down on its own. Three RA’s, however, reported Roby to the program directors the next day, testifying that they felt physically threatened by Roby, resulting in his expulsion. Said Roby in an email to blogger Kira Davis, I never mentioned anything remotely violent or did anything violent. Also I am confident that all of my peers would support the fact that I have never showed an ounce of violence and any such claims are flawed. Since they never gave Roby a fair hearing to speak in his own defense, it sure looks like Georgetown pulled one of the oldest racist tricks in the book by condemning a black male because he appeared “threatening.” Other scholars were understandably hesitant to speak out on Roby’s behalf, fearing the loss of their scholarships. Meanwhile in Georgia, graduate student Jennifer Keeton is suing Augusta State University for allegedly forcing her to change her beliefs about homosexuality before they would award her a degree. According to the lawsuit being brought on her behalf by the Alliance Defense Fund, "[Keeton] believes sexual behavior is the result of accountable personal choice...Further, she has expressed her view that homosexuality is a 'lifestyle,' not a 'state of being,' In certain personal conversations away from the classroom with friends and colleagues, Miss Keeton has shared her Christian faith, and commended its virtues and benefits. In the course of such discussions, she has also communicated Christian viewpoints on matters related to sexual ethics. This is apparently too much free speech for the LGBT Thought Police, and Miss Keeton has been ordered to attend mandatory sensitivity training and to write papers reflecting on the content of that training. She has also been told to spend more time among homosexuals at events such as the Gay Pride Parade. Still believe the fight over marriage is just about gay couples who want the rights and benefits of marriage and nothing more? Changing the legal definition of marriage to include homosexual relationships is tantamount to conferring societal approval on homosexuality. If gay marriage becomes law, there will be no legal barriers to keep institutions from forcing students to suppress their deeply held religious beliefs. Religious freedom is a hallmark of our nation. Let’s keep it that way.
by wp:  Tis so obvious that the tactics used by the LGBT are those they accuse everyone else of using.  Freedom to think and believe for yourself is anathema to the New World way of thinking and they will use any methods against us to achieve their ends.  Rights are Rights only when applied to their way of belief.
