The New World Disorder

The New World Disorder

After his great victory in Desert Storm, George H.W. Bush went before the United Nations to declare the coming of a New World Order. The Cold War was yesterday. Communism was in its death throes. The Soviet Empire had crumbled.
The Soviet Union was disintegrating. Francis Fukuyama was writing of "The End of History." Savants trilled about the inevitable triumph of democratic capitalism.
Yet, in 2012, sectarianism, tribalism and nationalism are all resurgent, reshaping a world where U.S. power and influence are visibly receding.
Syria is sinking into a war of all against all that may end with a breakup of the nation along ethno-sectarian lines -- Arab, Druze, Kurd, Sunni, Shia and Christian. Iraq descends along the same path.
A U.S. war with Iran could end with a Kurdish enclave in Iran's northwest tied to Iraqi Kurdistan, Iran's Azeri north drifting toward Azerbaijan, and a Balochi enclave in the south linked to Pakistan's largest province, Balochistan, leaving Iran only Persia.
The Middle and Near East seem to be descending into a Muslim Thirty Years' War of Sunni vs. Shia. Out of it may come new nations whose names and borders were not written in drawing rooms by 19th and 20th century European cartographers, but in blood.
India, too, is feeling the tremors. Ethnic violence in the Assam region has sent hundreds of thousands fleeing in panic.
In East Asia, ethnonationalism, fed by memories from the 20th century, is igniting clashes among former Cold War allies.
China's claim to the Spratly, Paracel and other islands in the South China Sea puts Beijing in conflict with Hanoi, which welcomes U.S. warships back to Cam Ranh Bay. Were not these the same people we bombed and blasted not so long ago?

Seriously: Liberals Are Cheap with Charity

A new study produced by the Chronicle of Philanthropy shows that 14 out of the top 20 states in charitable giving are red, or Republican states, while 12 of the bottom 15 are blue, or Democrat states.
“The nation's sharp political divide can provide a clue to fundraisers,” writes the Chronicle. “The eight states that ranked highest in The Chronicle's analysis voted for John McCain in the last presidential contest while the seven lowest-ranking states supported Barack Obama.”
The study also found that the more religious states- which also happen to be more Republican- tend to give more than the less religious states.
But wait.
No, no, no: This can’t mean what we think it means.
It can’t mean that liberals are just cheaper than conservatives, despite outward appearances.
Let’s disregard what the data tells us, and go to that bastion of deconstructing EVERYTHING, white, liberal academia- with just a hint of Native American to satisfy a quota- so they can tell us what the study REALLY means.
So to make that point – in other words to make the point that liberals AREN’T really cheap- we need to cue the liberal social scientist whose job it is to explain to us that the results of the study don’t really say what they say.
We'll let Professor Running Mouth explain it.

From USAToday:
Alan Wolfe, a political science professor at Boston College, said it's wrong to link a state's religious makeup with its generosity. People in less religious states are giving in a different way by being more willing to pay higher taxes so the government can equitably distribute superior benefits, Wolfe said. And the distribution is based purely on need, rather than religious affiliation or other variables, said Wolfe, also head of the college's Boisi Center for Religion and Public Life.
Wolfe said people in less religious states "view the tax money they're paying not as something that's forced upon them, but as a recognition that they belong with everyone else, that they're citizens in the common good. … I think people here believe that when they pay their taxes, they're being altruistic."
In other words: You can’t build private charity efficiently-or anything else- without the government being involved.

All My Exes Live in Texas

All My Exes Live in Texas
A former Texas high school teacher was convicted of multiple felonies after having sex with five 18-year-old students at her home. The conviction was a victory for the prosecution but it was a setback for the feminist movement. It was also a setback for the homosexual uncivil rights movement, which seeks unlimited authority to redefine relationships among consenting adults. Brittni Nicole Colleps, 28, of Arlington, was found guilty of 16 counts of having an inappropriate relationship between a student and teacher. In Texas, this second-degree felony is punishable by two to 20 years in prison per count. Because none of her students sodomized her, the relationships have not yet been enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. What makes this case difficult for some to fathom is that Colleps is Mrs. Colleps, not Miss Colleps. She is married and has multiple children. She also likes to have sex with multiple school kids at the same time. In fact, she had to turn herself in after one of the student athletes she was having sex with video recorded the encounter using a cellphone. That’s one of the disadvantages of taking on several athletes at once. It’s tough for a girl to know what all the boys in the room are doing at any given time. And it’s tough to keep track of all the electronic devices. Police Detective Jason Houston testified at trial saying that charges were filed because, whether they are 18 or not, it's a crime for a teacher to have sex with her students. This has some feminists upset because they think it should only be a crime for a teacher to have sex with his students. They think that a woman having sex with high school students is empowering while a man having sex with

Top 10 Reasons Not to Re-elect Obama

Top 10 Reasons Not to Re-elect Obama (Part 2 of 3)
The New York Times reported, "With waning approval ratings and a stagnant economy, the possibility that Mr. Obama will not be re-elected has entered the political bloodstream." It's more than entered; it's flowing strong. Last week in Part 1, I began to list my Top 10 reasons not to re-elect President Obama. Though I would encourage readers to read the details of each of those points, here they are in summary:
10) Obama's economic actions have failed to lower the unemployment rate in the U.S. below 8 percent for last 42 record months. 9) The Obama administration's out-of-control spending has lead America to the economic brink and destroyed our country's credit rating. 8) Obama's reckless spending and fiscal policies have added more to the national debt than most U.S. presidents combined: roughly $6 trillion in his first term in office (making the total debt nearly $16 trillion, and by White House projections alone, $21.3 trillion by the end of fiscal 2017, $25 trillion in 2021 and $25.9 trillion in 2022). 7) Obama has not only detrimentally increased the costs of entitlements but the dependency of citizens upon government subsidies, rather than empowering the people's autonomy, responsibility and freedom. 6) Obama demeans private enterprise and the entrepreneurial spirit -- the very heart of America -- and instead believes that "only" government is our savior.
Here are a few more unquestionable justifications for ousting him from office. 5) President Obama has left the U.S. in a weaker and more disrespected position in the global community. In 2009, President Obama began his presidency by humiliating our superpower nation and parading U.S. weaknesses and mistakes to the world on what many now call his "apology tour," in which he embarked on global travel with his apologetic Top 10 decries of America, as detailed by the Heritage Foundation. And is the U.S. better off among the nations? The Washington Times report that, according to a poll by even two left-leaning groups, "A majority of Americans say the United States is less respected in the world than two years ago and believe President Obama and other Democrats fall short of Republicans on the issue of national security." In February 2012, Gallup reported that "Americans continue to express much greater dissatisfaction than satisfaction with the United States' position in the world, and their views have improved little since hitting a low point in 2008." The Bipartisan Policy Center, including many of the original 9/11 Commission members, reported on national preparedness 10 years after those catastrophic terrorist attacks: "Our country is undoubtedly safer and more secure than it was a decade ago," but "we fail to achieve the security we could or should have." The report concluded that the federal government has failed to meet nine of the original 9/11 Commission's 41 recommendations. And what is President Obama's response? He plans to initiate more than $500 billion in automatic cuts to the defense budget over a decade, starting next January. And Bloomberg Businessweek recently reported that Obama's Democratic-controlled Senate voted to authorize another reduced Pentagon war and defense-related spending package. 4) Obama has broken or unfulfilled 324 campaign promises. In the over 500 promises Obama made during his campaign and presidency, even the pro-Obama PolitiFact website and their Obamameter has rated his scorecard: 184 promises kept, 60 compromised, 71 broken, 61 stalled, 130 in the works and two not yet rated. What that verbiage means is that even according to the political left, Obama has fulfilled 184 promises and left 324pledges broken and unfulfilled. In 2010, feeling a bit defensive and maybe insecure, Obama fired back in anger to those who were accusing him of selling out by breaking so many of his campaign promises. Wielding his verbose verbal sword, the president retorted: "Take a tally. Look at what I promised during the campaign. There's not a single thing that I've said that I would do that I have not either done or tried to do. And if I haven't gotten it done yet, I'm still trying to do it." "Not a single thing?" That's right -- it's 324 single things. 3) Through his presidency, President Obama is invoking and enabling a radically progressive secular state in the U.S. In 2010, before his run for the presidency, Newt Gingrich stated on the tour for his insightful book "To Save America" that the Obama regime is "the most radical administration in America's history. This is a secular socialist machine ... deeply opposed to God being in public life, deeply opposed to religious values defining how we think about things ... they clearly represent a value system that any reasonable person would call secular ... on a scale that is the opposite of the Founding Fathers." When New York churches can no longer meet in public school settings, a federal court orders a Rhode Island public school to remove a prayer banner that has been posted for over five decades (and it complies), the federal government mandates Catholic institutions to cover abortion-inducing drugs, contraceptives and sterilization (at no cost to the patient), the U.S. Air Force removes "God" from the motto of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, the National Park Service omits the words "Laus Deo" (Latin, "Praise be to God") from a Washington Monument capstone replica, atheists continue to contest "under God" in our Pledge of Allegiance, town councils can't pray to start their meetings, evangelical pillars like Franklin Graham are subdued by gotcha-gangs in the mainstream media and cultural icons like football superstar Tim Tebow can't even bow in silent prayer without criticism, etc., you can be assured that religious liberty (and Christianity, in particular) is under assault by secular progressives across America. And leading the national charge is none other than our own president, Barack Obama. Is it any wonder Obama hasn't fought for a single Christian cause or crisis in culture? Is it any surprise that his ethical campaign promises have fallen flat? Remember when Obama promised during his 2008 campaign to "clean up both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue" with "the most sweeping ethics reform in history." He repeatedly declared that "an Obama administration is going to have the toughest ethics laws of any administration in history." Who are you kidding, Mr. President? (In Part 3 next week, I will complete my Top 10 reasons not to re-elect President Obama.)

"Issues" or America?

There are some very serious issues at stake in this year's election -- so many that some people may not be able to see the forest for the trees. Individual issues are the trees, but the forest is the future of America as we have known it.
The America that has flourished for more than two centuries is being quietly but steadily dismantled by the Obama administration, during the process of dealing with particular issues.
For example, the merits or demerits of President Obama's recent executive order, suspending legal liability for young people who are here illegally, presumably as a result of being brought here as children by their parents, can be debated pro and con. But such a debate overlooks the much more fundamental undermining of the whole American system of Constitutional government.
The separation of powers into legislative, executive and judicial branches of government is at the heart of the Constitution of the United States -- and the Constitution is at the heart of freedom for Americans.
No President of the United States is authorized to repeal parts of legislation passed by Congress. He may veto the whole legislation, but then Congress can override his veto if they have enough votes. Nevertheless, every President takes an oath to faithfully execute the laws that have been passed and sustained -- not just the ones he happens to agree with.
If laws passed by the elected representatives of the people can be simply over-ruled unilaterally by whoever is in the White House, then we are no longer a free people, choosing what laws we want to live under.
When a President can ignore the plain language of duly passed laws, and substitute his own executive orders, then we no longer have "a government of laws, and not of men" but a President ruling by decree, like the dictator in some banana republic.
When we confine our debates to the merits or demerits of particular executive orders, we are tacitly accepting arbitrary rule. The Constitution of the United States cannot protect us unless we protect the Constitution. But, if we allow ourselves to get bogged down in the details of particular policies imposed by executive orders, and vote solely on that basis, then we have failed to protect the Constitution -- and ourselves.
Whatever the merits or demerits of the No Child Left Behind Act, it is the law until Congress either repeals it or amends it. But for Barack Obama to unilaterally waive whatever provisions he doesn't like in that law undermines the fundamental nature of American government.
President Obama has likewise unilaterally repealed the legal requirement that welfare recipients must work, by simply redefining "work" to include other things like going to classes on weight control. If we think the bipartisan welfare reform legislation from the Clinton administration should be repealed or amended, that is something for the legislative branch of government to consider.
There have been many wise warnings that freedom is seldom lost all at once. It is usually eroded away, bit by bit, until it is all gone. You may not notice a gradual erosion while it is going on, but you may eventually be shocked to discover one day that it is all gone, that we have been reduced from citizens to subjects, and the Constitution has become just a meaningless bunch of paper.
ObamaCare imposes huge costs on some institutions, while the President's arbitrary waivers exempt other institutions from having to pay those same costs. That is hardly the "equal protection of the laws," promised by the 14th Amendment.
John Stuart Mill explained the dangers in that kind of government long ago: "A government with all this mass of favours to give or to withhold, however free in name, wields a power of bribery scarcely surpassed by an avowed autocracy, rendering it master of the elections in almost any circumstances but those of rare and extraordinary public excitement."
If Obama gets reelected, he knows that he need no longer worry about what the voters think about anything he does. Never having to face them again, he can take his arbitrary rule by decree as far as he wants. He may be challenged in the courts but, if he gets just one more Supreme Court appointment, he can pick someone who will rubber stamp anything he does and give him a 5 to 4 majority.

If you love the USA you will read this all the way to the end!  If you want our country to remain a democracy you will be watching all of the news stations and not just the ones owned by the Democratic Party--NBC, CBS, & ABC...watch Fox for awhile and pay very close attention because the truth is out there if you just pay attention.
Maybe you have read some newspaper articles written by Dr. Williams---a conservative. libertarian economist who happens to be Black. He has taught at several Universities and is currently teaching at George Mason University .
No Matter What

By Dr. Walter  Williams

Can  President Obama be defeated in 2012?  No. He  can't.  I am going on record as saying that  President Barak Obama will win a second term.
The media won't tell  you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama's case billions) of dollars to them in advertising.

But the truth is,  there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.
The  quality of the Republican candidate doesn't matter.   Obama gets reelected.
Nine percent unemployment?   No problem.  Obama will win.
Gas  prices moving toward five  dollars a gallon?  He still wins.
The economy soars or goes into the gutter.  Obama wins.
War in the Middle East ?  He wins a second term.

America's role as the leading Superpower disappears? Just what he wants!
The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the  dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama's extraordinary deficit spending? No matter.  Obama wins handily.

Many will say, “You are crazy Williams.  Don't you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world  conditions are declining?”  Sure I do.

And that's why I know Obama will win.  The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics.  And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated.

Even when Obama's  policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use  to explain why it isn't his fault.  After all, things were much worse than understood when he took  office.

Obama's reelection is really a very, very simple math problem.  Consider the  following:

1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly.  Period.  Doesn't matter what he does.  It's a race thing.  He's one of  us.
That’s why the media destroyed Herman Cain so handily. Too big a threat.

 2)  College educated women will vote for Obama.  Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory.   It's really not more complex than that.

 3)  Liberals will vote for Obama.  He is their great hope.

 4)  Democrats will vote for Obama.  He is the leader of their  party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide.

 5)  Hispanics will vote for Obama.  He is the path to citizenship for those who are here illegally and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic  Party.

 6) Union  members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their  key to money and power in business, state and local politics.

7) Big  Business will support Obama.  They already have.  He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and  is gaining more every day.  Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda.

 8) The  media love him.  They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him.  After all, to not love him would be racist.

 9) Most  other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him.  Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican.  American Indians will support him.  Homosexuals tend to vote Democratic.  And lastly…;

10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama.  And he doesn't need  anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned.  The President will win an  overwhelming victory in 2012.

--  Dr.  Walter Williams

It's  believed the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of   democracy, with some forty  percent of the nation's population already having reached the  "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal  invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the  USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much  is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest  danger to our freedom.
Please think this through. And then vote. The future of our Republic is literally at stake. WHICH CATAGORY ARE YOU IN ABOVE... VOTE   VOTE  VOTE  VOTE  VOTE..........

At the beginning of 2012, Newsweek asked “Why are Obama’s critics so dumb?”
This was par for the course, as with the rest of the mainstream media, they had joined in the hagiography of Obama when he was dutifully crowned with divinity:
I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above the world, he’s sort of God.”
Oh how the mighty are fallen!
Sunday morning conservatives were knocked out of their chairs with the just-released Newsweek with the magazine’s cover of a photo of Barack Obama, suit jacket swung over his shoulder, and looking arrogantly into the camera. The caption: “Hit the Road, Barack. Why We Need a New President.”
Inside is a 3000-word article by economist Niall Ferguson, excoriating Barack Hussein Obama for gutting the economy and putting us on a road to financial ruin. In slick magazine fashion, there are charts of the economy’s unemployment rate, sluggish growth, and skyrocketing debt.
It also delves into the fact that Obama’s lack of experience in either business or management has equated into a man that is clearly over his head; in which Niall Ferguson quotes Ron Suskind’s book, Confidence Men, of Larry Summers and Peter Orzag (Obama’s economic team) in conversation:
You know, Peter, we’re really home alone…I mean it. We’re home alone. There’s no adult in charge.
A home where the children are left without adult supervision is problematic. But a country, the sole superpower in the world, without adult supervision is a recipe for disaster, as Niall Ferguson shows with Obama’s disastrous foreign policy leading to the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and the country’s path to financial ruin.
Is this the beginning of the end of the mainstream media’s love affair with Barack Hussein Obama? Will they send him packing? Will they tell him to “Hit the Road, Barack. And don’t you come back no more, no more…”
Let us hope so.

Whoa: Newsweek’s Latest Cover May Surprise You

Posted by HS

Now, we all know Newsweek isn’t shy when it comes to controversial cover photos and headline stories. Indeed, on more than a few occasions, Newsweek Editor Tina Brown has had to defend the magazine’s less-than-flattering photos and oftentimes incendiary articles.
Everyone’s also familiar with the publication’s left-leaning tendencies, right? Right.
Well, that’s precisely why Newsweek’s latest cover may surprise you:
Whoa: Newsweeks Latest Cover May Surprise You
“Hit the Road, Barack”
Whoa. Well, that‘s certainly a departure from the type of headline stories and cover photos we’ve grown accustomed to

Editorial...By Pat Boone

Pat Boone on Obama...Simply outstanding
When you have read what Pat Boone wrote about Obama (below), you may want to click on the link to "Snopes", which brings up a page telling you that this is an actual letter written by Pat Boone - and very well written, I might add. This is an excellent commentary that should be read by every American.

The President Without A Country
- Pat Boone

"We're no longer a Christian nation." - President Barack Obama, June 2009

" America has been arrogant." - President Barack Obama

"After 9/11, America didn't always live up to her ideals."- President Barack Obama

"You might say that America is a Muslim nation."- President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president, I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"

The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."

And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he foreswore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"

You surely can't be referring to the United States of America, can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?

In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson 's intent with that statement?

Or, wait a minute: were your ideas about America's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that "America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that
“America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be "considered a Muslim nation"?

Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?

Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

Could it be you are a president without a country?

All who love their Christian beliefs, and their country, should forward to all in your address books

Some folks ask, “Why has it taken four years to get the following information out.  Others say, “Why hasn't the main stream media investigated and published it?  Still others are wondering to themselves, “Why are we just now seeing this?

Are you kiddin’ me!  Honestly, you don’t know the answers yet?  Get off the friggin’ couch and find some news, look up stuff on the net, read some blogs, ask friends or neighbors or go to Washington and demand the truth, but do something!  If, after all that has happened since this lil’ warped punk has taken office, you still do not have a clue why the media doesn’t put out the truth, then my friend, you are a lost cause!

Now, take a read about Barry and his Choom Gang:

1. The Choom Gang

A self-selected group of boys at Punahou School, an upper class prep school in Hawaii, whose members loved good times and called themselves the Choom Gang.  Choom is a verb, meaning "to smoke marijuana."

2. Total Absorption
As a member of the Choom Gang, Barry Obama was known for starting a few pot-smoking trends. The first was called "TA," short for "total absorption."  In other words they’d get completely “zombied” out on the stuff.  No one or two puffs here, oh, and they did inhale!  A bunch!
3. Roof Hits

Along with TA, Barry popularized the concept of "roof hits", which meant that Barry’s Gang would get in the car and all the windows had to be rolled up so no smoke blew out and went to waste; when the pot was gone, they tilted their heads back and sucked in the last bit of smoke from the ceiling.

4. Penalties
When you were with Barry and his pals, if you exhaled precious pakalolo (Hawaiian slang for marijuana, meaning "numbing tobacco") instead of absorbing it fully into your lungs, you were assessed a penalty and your turn was skipped the next time the joint came around. "Wasting good bud smoke was not tolerated," explained one member of the Choom Gang, Tom Topolinski, the Chinese-looking kid with a Polish name who answered to Topo.

5. The Choomwagon
[Choom Gang member] Mark Bendix's Volkswagen bus, also known as the Choomwagon.  The other members considered Mark Bendix the glue which held the Gang together.  He was funny, creative, and uninhibited, with a thing for Marvel Comics. He also had that VW bus and a house with a pool, a bong (marijuana device), and a Nerf basketball, all enticements for them to slip off midday for a few unauthorized hours of recreation and weed.

6. Interceptions
Barry also had a knack for interceptions. When a joint was making the rounds, he often elbowed his way in, out of turn, shouted "Intercepted" and took an extra hit. No one seemed to mind.

7. Slippers
Choom Gang members often made their way to Aku Ponds at the end of Manoa Stream, where they slipped past the liliko'i vines and the KAPU (keep out) signs, waded into waist-high cool mountain water, stood near the rock where water rushed overhead, and held up a slipper (what flip-flops are called in Hawaii) to create an air pocket canopy. It was a natural high, they said, stoned or not.

8. Yearbook - Ray The Dealer
Ray was a long-haired haole hippie who worked at the Mama Mia Pizza Parlor not far from Punahou and lived in a dilapidated bus in an abandoned warehouse. … According to Topolinski, Ray the dealer was "freakin' scary." Many years later they learned that he had been killed with a ball-peen hammer by a scorned gay lover. But at the time he was useful because of his ability to "score quality weed."  He was Barry’s supplier.

In another section of the [senior] yearbook, students were given a block of space to express thanks and define their high school experience. … Nestled below [Obama's] photographs was one odd line of gratitude: "Thanks Tut, Gramps, Choom Gang, and Ray for all the good times."

9. Pumping Stations
Their favorite hangout was a place they called Pumping Stations, a lush hideaway off an unmarked, roughly paved road partway up Mount Tantalus. They parked single file on the grassy edge, turned up their stereos playing Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, and Stevie Wonder, lit up some "sweet-sticky Hawaiian buds" and washed it down with "green bottle beer" (the Choom Gang preferred Heineken, Becks, and St. Pauli Girl).

10. Veto
One of the favorite words in their subculture revealed their democratic nature. The word was veto. Whenever an idea was broached, someone could hold up his hand in the V sign (a backward peace sign of that era) and indicate that the motion wash not approved. They later shortened the process so that you could just shout "V" to get the point across. In the Choom Gang, all V's were created equal.

11. Maui Wowie, Kauai Electric, Puna Bud And Kona Gold:
In the Honolulu of Barry's teenage years marijuana was flourishing up in the hills, out in the countryside, in covert greenhouses everywhere. It was sold and smoked right there in front of your eyes and nose; Maui Wowie, Kauai Electric, Puna Bud, Kona Gold, and other local variations of pakololo were readily available.

12. The Barf Couch
The Barf Couch earned its name early in the first trimester when a freshman across the hall from Obama [in the Haines Hall Annex dorm at Occidental College] drank himself into a stupor and threw up all over himself and the couch. In the manner of pallbearers hoisting a coffin, a line of Annexers lifted the tainted sofa with the freshman aboard and toted it out the back door and down four steps to the first concrete landing on the way to the parking lot. A day later, the couch remained outside in the sun, resting on its side with cushions off (someone had hosed it clean), and soon it was back in the hallway nook.

13. The Annex Olympics
The main hallway at Haines Hall was called the Annex, home to the impromptu Annex Olympics: long-jumping onto a pile of mattresses, wrestling in underwear, hacking golf balls down the hallway toward the open back door, boxing while drunk. There were the non-Olympic sports of lighting farts and judging them by color, tipping over the Coke machine, breaking the glass fire extinguisher case, putting out cigarettes on the carpet, falling asleep on the carpet, flinging Frisbees at the ceiling-mounted alarm bell, tasting pizza boxes to the floor, and smoking pot from a three-foot crimson opaque bong, a two-man event involving the smoker and an accomplice standing ready to respond to the order "Hey, dude, light the bowl!"

Yessir.  We've come a long way in the few short years since Bill Clinton's famous but then necessary lie (no, Monica, we're talking about the other one) - you know, that he just didn't inhale.
More to follow, I'm sure.  People are beginning to talk about their history with Barry.

Imagine, over 70% of Jewish people and over 90% of Black people voted for this PUNK!  He got over 50% of all the voters in America!  What does this say about our voting system?  What does this say about our vetting process?  What does this say about our election process?  And hell, what does this say about half the folks in America?  Amazin' how far we have come!  Some say America is flourishing, but I say America has taken a HUGE step backwards since this pickled brain PUNK has taken the main leadership role!  Just shows how MONEY rules our politicians.  Given enough financial backing and corruption and even Charles Manson could be president!

DON'T FORGE***************** - Obama, you insignificant lil' flea, you cannot defeat me! I am backed by a fella, who had spikes driven in both hands and feet, then he was hung on timbers and the only thing holding him up were those spikes, then he was stabbed and given up for dead, then he was entombed, then he walked out of that tomb and ascended up into the sky and after all of that he still lives today! Yes, this is my backing! What's yours? George Soros? I am laughing whole-heartedly right now! How small you really are Obama! Oh yeah, if you think this fella backing me is something, I just can't wait 'til you meet his father! Good luck, Hehehehehe!
