Lookout Tampa, Here Comes Sheriff Joe!

HERE COME DE (JUDGE) SHERIFF
Over
the past several years, two top cops have been center stage in the
media. Attorney General Eric Holder, the nation’s top cop and Maricopa
County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the county’s top cop. Most of the media has
centered around Holder’s lawsuits against Arpaio for racial profiling
against Hispanics.
Sadly, most of the nation has heard little to nothing about Arpaio’s
investigation into Barack Obama’s birth certificate, Social Security
Number and Selective Service Registration Card. The Sheriff’s Cold Case
Posse has uncovered substantial evidence to indicate that all three of
these documents are forgeries and that the presentation of them to the
general public constitutes fraud. Citing Section 1 of Article 2 of the
U.S. Constitution, Arpaio has called for a congressional investigation
into Obama’s eligibility. Unfortunately, no one in Congress has the
backbone or fortitude to initiate their responsibility to Arpaio’s
request and the American people.
But they just may get a chance to hear about it during the Republican National Convention. Sheriff Joe has been asked to speak
to a closed group of delegates from western states on August 30 at the
zoo in Tampa. The topic of his talk has not been disclosed but I sure
wish I had the privilege to be there to hear what he says. I would also
like to know how much or how little the national media will cover his
talk.
Some of you may wonder what qualifications Arpaio has, other than his
controversy with Obama and Holder, to warrant his being asked to speak
at a political convention. Here is a little bit about his background
that I hope will answer your questions and make you wish you were there
also. Joseph M. Arpaio
is a first generation American, born to two legal immigrants from
Italy. After serving 4 years in the Army, Arpaio worked as a police
office in Washington D.C. from 1954 to 1957. In 1957, he moved to Las
Vegas to work with their police department. Six months after arriving
in Las Vegas, Arpaio became a special agent with what is now the Drug
Enforcement Administration. He worked 25 years with the DEA in
Argentina, Mexico, Turkey and the U.S. and eventually became chief of
the DEA branch in Arizona. In 1992, he successfully ran for Sheriff of
Maricopa County, Arizona and has been re-elected in the next four
elections.
Although he turned 80 in June of this year, Arpaio is running for
another term as sheriff and promises to remain as tough and true to the
law and the citizens of Maricopa County as he always has been. He is
committed to stand his legal ground regardless of the threats to him
personally from the Mexican drug cartels (they have placed a $4 million
bounty on Arpaio) or from Holder and his DOJ thugs.
Also during his time in Arizona, Joe Arpaio has served as a delegate
from the state of Arizona to past Republican National Conventions. He
is a staunch member of the GOP and for the conservative values it stands
for.
So not only is he well qualified as a former GOP delegate, he is also
well qualified as someone who has worked in various aspects of law
enforcement for the past 56 years. Now don’t you wish you were one of
the lucky ones that have been invited to hear him speak in Tampa? All I
can say, is “Lookout Tampa, Here Comes Sheriff Joe!”

I bought and read Obama's book, Audacity of Hope. It was difficult to read considering his
attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he used to describe his
attitude toward whites. He harbors a "COIL OF RAGE". His words not mine.
THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT -- HE'S RUNNING AGAIN, YOU KNOW! Is anyone out there awake? Everyone of voting age should read these two books by him: Don't buy them, just get them from the library.

When Obama learned his mother had ovarian cancer and was not expected to live,
he refused to go see her before she died.

During Obama's campaign, Michelle made a speech to a black group in Chicago .
She ranted, raved and had the black audience worked up to a frenzy. She told
them there are some big corporations, big pies, that the whites had in the USA,
and that Obama was going to get those pies, cut them up in slices and give them
out to others. At that point, the blacks were cheering very loudly, jumping up
and down, and Michelle, caught up in the excitement, said "We are going to
get Whitey".

local Chicago news station was there and filmed the whole thing, but they
refused to release the film for fear of hurting Obama. Several people tried to
get the film, but it was never released.
OBAMA'S WAR AGAINST COAL CAN BE STOPPED BUT NOT REVERSED

The founder and CEO of the nation’s 12th largest coal producer told Human Events in an exclusive interview that President Barack Obama’s war on coal has done permanent damage to America’s competitiveness.
“It can be stopped, but it cannot be reversed,” said Robert E. Murray, the CEO of Murray Energy, a privately-held coal producer based in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
“I’ve been with Romney a number of times, and some of that was one-on-one,” he said. “I can’t betray a confidence, and never would, but I can tell you, he gets it.”
Murray said after working 31 years at a NYSE-traded coal company, he led a leveraged buyout of one of the company’s mines in 1988. Today, Murray Energy is the 12th largest producer of coal with 3,300 employees.
“My sons are fifth-generation coal miners and we were coal miners in Scotland and Wales before that,” he said.

Obama is planning to close 175 power plants by 2020, roughly equivalent to 83,000 megawatts, he said. Most of the plants will go off the grid by 2014.
The physical reality is that idle coal mines or coal-fired electric generating plants atrophy, he said.
“Those plants are not designed to remain idle,” he said. “The boilers and turbines are made to keep heat in them and they start deteriorating very rapidly.”
The same is also true for coal mines, he said.
“A coal mine is a living thing,” Murray said. “Once you stop the operation of a coal mine, they flood very quickly, and secondly, the roof conditions, even if you can keep it pumped out, slake.”
“The roof slakes, the roof spalls — these are mining terms,” he said. “As the moisture in the air goes underground from the hot air outside into the 58 degrees underground, the air currents just cut the roof down like a knife. The mine was a living thing. When it dies, you cannot bring it back.”

Are 96 Percent of Blacks Racists?
A shocking new poll (probably rigged) claims that “Romney has
zero percent support from African Americans.” While 96 percent of African
Americans will not vote for the white guy, we’re not told who the other 4
percent are going to vote for. All we know is that no blacks in the survey
sample are going to vote for Romney. Instead, they’re going to vote for the
party that has kept them in chains.If a poll showed that 96 percent of white people will not vote for a black candidate, you and I know how the statistic would be treated by the press, the NAACP, and the various black poverty pimps who hustle their own people for fun and profit. This is what we would hear:
“We always knew whites were racists. It’s in their
genes. This latest poll proves it.”
So why doesn’t a poll showing that blacks won’t vote for Romney show that
blacks can be racists?
I understand that blacks have been voting for Democrats for decades, but this
is different. Voting for Obama is a racial thing. Former White House adviser Van
Jones said even if President Obama came out as a homosexual he would not lose
any support among black voters. Even though a majority of blacks oppose
homosexual behavior and homosexual marriage, they will still vote for President
Obama because – dare I say it – he’s black.And that’s a shame since the social and economic policies of P president Obama will do blacks more harm than good. They’ll get more handouts, more preferred treatment, more excuses, and more poverty. The priorities among black youth are twisted because they’ve been told all their lives that poverty is a condition that has been imposed upon them by rich white folks like Mitt Romney and Republicans in general.
More than 40 years of helping blacks through government programs of
dependency has affected three generations of blacks. You can see it in the high
school drop-out rate, illegitimacy, broken families, and high youth
unemployment.
Consider the promotional campaign for the new LeBron James Nike shoe “LeBron
X.” The most expensive model will set you back $315.The National Urban League is asking Nike to ditch its plans to release the shoe. Here’s what National Urban League president and CEO Marc H. Morial had to say about the release of the new shoe:
“To release such an outrageously overpriced
product while the nation is struggling to overcome an unemployment crisis is
insensitive at best. It represents twisted priorities and confused values.”
Morial described the state of the economy as an “unemployment crisis.” Who’s
prolonged the unemployment crisis? The Democrats and the failed economic
policies of Barack Obama. Who’s going to vote for President Obama again? That’s
right, 96 percent of blacks.
It’s a shame that black adults have to tell young blacks not to spend $315 on
a pair of shoes. With their capital spent and only a pair of shoes to show for
their money, they’ll still be in the same economic condition they started in.
And when it’s all said and done, they’ll blame the white man and vote for the
people who abuse them with promises of prosperity.
No one’s forcing them to buy the shoes. No one’s forcing them to drop out of
school or engage in sex before marriage. Blaming other people, including Nike,
will not help them.

New Audio Surfaces of Obama Defending Infanticide in Illinois

That President Barack Obama was the only member of the Illinois
legislature to not support a bill to provide medical care for newborns
who survived failed late-term abortions is one of the key reasons
pro-life voters will never support him.
Now, Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack has uncovered
new audio of Obama, as a state legislator in Illinois in 2003,
defending his position. Obama essentially argues that there is no need
for the law because he trusts abortion practitioners to provide medical
care for the baby they unsuccessfully tried to kill in an abortion.
The transcript of the video McCormack unearthed follows:
OBAMA:
I just want to be clear because I think this was the source of the
objections of the Medical Society. As I understand it, this puts the
burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were
performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus;
that if that fetus, or child – however way you want to describe it – is
now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that its
nonviable but there’s, lets say, movement or some indication that, in
fact, they’re not just out limp and dead, they would then have to call a
second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is
not a live child that could be saved. Is that correct?
OBAMA: Let me just go to the bill, very quickly. Essentially, I
think, as — as this emerged during debate and during committee, the only
plausible rationale, to my mind, for this legislation would be if you
had a suspicion that a doctor, the attending physician, who has made an
assessment that this is a nonviable fetus and that, lets say for the
purposes of the mother’s health, is being — that — that labor is being
induced, that that physician (a) is going to make the wrong assessment
and (b) if the physician discovered, after the labor had been induced,
that, in fact, he made an error, or she made an error, and, in fact,
that that physician, of his own accord or her own accord, would not try
to exercise the sort of medical measures and practices that would be
involved in saving that child. Now, if — if you think that there are
possibilities that doctors would not do that, then maybe this bill makes
sense, but I — I suspect and my impression is, is that the Medical
Society suspects as well that doctors feel that they would be under that
obligation, that they would already be making these determinations and
that, essentially, adding a — an additional doctor who then has to be
called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments
is really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman
and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion. Now, if
that’s the case – and –and I know that some of us feel very strongly one
way or another on that issue – that’s fine, but I think it’s important
to understand that this issue ultimately is about abortion and not live
births. Because if these children are being born alive, I, at least,
have confidence that a doctor who is in that room is going to make sure
that they’re looked after. Thank you, Mr. President.”
Yesterday, McCormack uncovered an old video from 2003,
when President Barack Obama was running for the U.S. Senate from
Illinois, in which he defends his position favoring late-term abortions.
As an Illinois state senator, Obama was so supportive of late-term
abortions, he resisted efforts to protect unborn children born alive
after failed abortion procedures.
When Obama opposed a bill to stop infanticide as a member of the
Illinois legislature, he said he did so because it reportedly contained
language that would have contravened the Roe v. Wade decision. However,
documents uncovered during the 2008 election show Obama has
misrepresented his position.
Obama, as a member of the Illinois Senate, opposed a state version of
the federal Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, a measure that would
make sure babies who survive abortions are given proper medical care.
It also protected babies who were “aborted” through a purposeful premature birth and left to die afterwards.
On the federal level, pro-abortion groups withdrew their opposition
to the bill after a section was added making sure it did not affect the
status of legal abortions in the United States. Ultimately, the bill was
approved on a unanimous voice vote with even leading pro-abortion
lawmakers like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry backing it.
When Obama was running for the U.S. Senate in 2004, his opponent
criticized him for supporting infanticide by voting against the Illinois
version of the bill. Obama countered this charge by claiming that he
had opposed the state bill because it lacked the neutrality clause found
in the federal version.
As the Chicago Tribune reported on October 4, 2004, “Obama said that
had he been in the U.S. Senate two years ago, he would have voted for
the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, even though he voted against a
state version of the proposal.”
During Obama’s 2008 run for President, he repeated those claims.
Documents obtained by the National Right to Life Committee showed
Obama’s claim that he would have voted for the bill had it been
Roe-neutral is a false argument.
According to the documents
from the Illinois legislature, Obama, as the chairman of the Illinois
state Senate Health and Human Services Committee, presided over a
committee meeting concerning neutrality language that was an exact
duplicate of the clause in the federal bill.
During the March 2003 committee, Obama voted in support of adding the
neutrality clause, but then led his colleagues on the panel in voting
down the anti-infanticide bill on a 6-4 vote.
“Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee,
voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion,” NRLC
legislative director Douglas Johnson told LifeNews.com at the time.
Johnson said Obama did so “even after the panel had amended the bill
to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by
Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on
abortion.”
“Obama’s legislative actions in 2003 — denying effective protection
even to babies born alive during abortions — were contrary to the
position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of
Congress,” Johnson continued.
“The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose,” he concluded.
NATIONAL SECURITY UNIONS: A THREAT TO OUR NATIONAL SECURITY

Most people believe that while many other classes of government
workers are represented by Big Labor, our military and national security
employees cannot be unionized. But is that really true?
Could President Obama unionize our armed forces? Our active duty
military, comprising about 1.5 million servicemen and women, cannot be unionized
under current law. But our full-time national defense includes more than 700,000
civilians who are integral to our military. These civilian Defense Department
employees are already almost 60 percent unionized. This means that our
entire full-time military, including civilians, is more than 20 percent
unionized. As former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld told me: “Even the
Department of Defense has come under the influence of unions.” Government unions
are on our military bases and inside the Pentagon, determining workplace rules
and norms, filing grievances, and influencing personnel decisions in these
sensitive job sites.
What about national-security workers? The 1978 Civil Service Reform Act
explicitly bars collective bargaining among CIA, FBI, NSA, and Secret Service
employees. But many staffers who work for other sensitive security agencies have
already been unionized.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) baggage screeners could not
bargain collectively until President Obama’s TSA Administrator, John Pistole,
subjected them to unionization in 2011. Although less than 40 percent of TSA
workers voted in the runoff election between two unions seeking to represent
them, all 44,000 TSA baggage screeners today, and all future screeners hired
will be spoken for by the winning union — the American Federation of Government
Employees (AFGE) — absent an unlikely union-decertification election. That is
how government unions work — once a union wins certification in a workplace, the
union is the exclusive representative of that group of employees in perpetuity
with no further vote required. Ever.

It's the time of the year when children's smiles begin to look a
little pinched. You can feel it when you walk through any school supplies store.
While the colored pencils and lunchboxes on display evoke memories of "the good
times," they also spark memories of all that filler work -- the spelling and
grammar exercises, multiplication tables and the dates of the Revolutionary War.
It's also the time when parents think about what their children will study.
We used to know the subjects assigned to the various grades, but common core
subjects with common values were abandoned long ago, replaced by progressive
theories and the dumbing-down of actual information. The emphasis was on
methodology and social-activist doctrine, even in the lower grades. We continue
to suffer for it.
America has never had an official national curriculum, but as E.D. Hirsch, the education critic, observes in his newest book, "The Making of Americans," "a benign conspiracy among the writers of schoolbooks (insured) that all students would learn many of the same facts, myths, and values and so would grow to be competent, loyal Americans." No more. A hodge-podge curriculum and splintered knowledge marks a decline in academic achievement, as compared to other countries.
Hence a reform movement is burgeoning in reaction to many of the changes of the last half-century. Although results are mixed, some are promising and deserve attention. New York City, with a million students in 1,700 schools, for example, became a focus for reform, with instructive lessons for the rest of the country.
After a child-centered focus for children was described as letting each child find his natural path for reading, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his schools chancellor at the time, Joel Klein, looked at the dismal reading scores of children in the lower grades and reread the criticism and creative ideas of E.D. Hirsch. In 2008, they tested the scholar's early childhood literacy program in the real-life laboratory of 10 elementary schools.

Whittaker Chambers said that "the great failing of American conservatives is
they do not retrieve their wounded."
He had it right, as Todd Akin can testify. In an interview that aired last Sunday, Akin, the Republican candidate for Senate in Missouri, was asked whether he opposed abortions for women who had been raped. Akin's reply:
"From what I understand from doctors, that's really rare. ... If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down ... .
"But let's assume that maybe that didn't work or something. I think there
should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not
attacking the child."
As no rape is "legitimate," this was a colossal gaffe. Yet anyone reading his statement knows what Akin meant. He was saying that in an actual rape -- from what doctors have told him -- the likelihood of pregnancy is rare. But if a pregnancy did occur, the punishment should be imposed on the rapist not the unborn child.
This was the moral position of those extremists John Paul II and Ronald
Reagan. Of more interest, then, was the Republican reaction.
Howls for Akin to get out of the race came from pundits, talk show hosts,
members of the Senate and the GOP's monied elite that is raising hundreds of
millions in hope of a sweep of both houses of Congress and the White House in

NEW YORK – The Obama campaign is refusing to sever ties with a radical rabbi
who has called for a boycott against Israeli products, has dined with Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and was the first American rabbi to visit
Tehran.
The Obama campaign website says “Rabbis For Obama” sees the president as an
“advocate for issues important to the Jewish community.” wp: The American Jewish community.
“The endorsement of President Obama by the rabbis speaks volumes about the president’s deep commitment to the security of the state of Israel and his dedication to a policy agenda that represents the values of the overwhelming majority of the American Jewish community,” Ira Forman, Jewish outreach director for the campaign, told the Huffington Post on Tuesday.

However, Gottlieb’s inclusion on the list has prompted two conservative groups to call for her removal, a move the Obama campaign is now refusing to accommodate.
“The president’s strong support of Israel and toughest-ever actions against Iran has led rabbis from across the political spectrum to express their support for the president and have committed to seeing him re-elected,” a campaign official told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today. “The president obviously does not endorse or embrace their every affiliation, action or utterance.”
In 2008, she spoke at an interfaith dialogue Ramadan dinner with Ahmadinejad even after the Iranian leader had denied the Holocaust and called for the destruction of Israel.
In that speech, Gottleib explained the importance of the Holocaust and also suggested that according to the Torah, the U.S. should engage in direct peace talks with Iran.

The Republican Jewish Coalition and the Emergency Committee For Israel have
both called for Gottlieb’s removal from the campaign list, citing what they say

Anti-Defamation League has called one of the “top 10 anti-Israel groups.”
The Jewish Voice for Peace pursues corporate, university and governmental

President Obama's Twitter account has 18.8
million followers -- but more than half of them really don't exist,
according to reports.
A new Web tool has determined that 70% of Obama's crowd includes "fake followers," The New York Times reports in a story about how Twitter followers can be purchased.
"The
practice has become so widespread that StatusPeople, a social media
management company in London, released a Web tool last month called the
Fake Follower Check that it says can ascertain how many fake followers
you and your friends have," the Times reports.
"Fake
accounts tend to follow a lot of people but have few followers," said
Rob Waller, a founder of StatusPeople. "We then combine that with a few
other metrics to confirm the account is fake."
Notes the Times:
If accurate, the number of fake followers out there is surprising. According to the StatusPeople tool, 71 percent of Lady Gaga's nearly 29 million followers are "fake" or "inactive." So are 70 percent of President Obama's nearly 19 million followers.
Republican
opponent Mitt Romney has far fewer Twitter followers -- not quite
900,000 -- but it's a good bet that some of them are fake as well.
Both campaigns have denied buying Twitter followers.
MISSOURI Man hauls tankers full of water to keep 350-year-old tree alive amid drought

The historic drought parching much of the country's heartland has
claimed crops, but a Missouri man is working to make sure it doesn't
kill a 350-year-old tree.
John Sam Williamson has been hauling 1,600 gallons of water from the
Missouri River to the champion bur oak, which sits on the 1,000-acre
farm his family has run for six generations. The legendary oak is
estimated to be 350 years old and is believed to be the largest of its
kind.
"The drought of '80 was different," Williamson told the Columbia Daily Tribune. "That was hotter, but this one is longer."
According to a report, 99.29 percent of Missouri is in extreme drought or worse.
It's been one of the state's hottest years on record, and the bur oak has been showing signs of stress:
"The leaves are beginning to curl up a little bit, and they have
turned kind of brown," Williamson said. "I think it has aborted a lot of
the acorns. And the leaves turn upside down to keep from losing
moisture."
He told the Columbia Daily Tribune that he plans on watering the tree weekly for the next month or more.
The drought is leaving crops dry, and increasing prices on livestock
feed, according to Melissa Haley of Bourn Feed & Supply in Columbia.
"It makes me cringe every time I tell somebody their feed bill,"
Hayley said. "It is not good for us; it is not good for them; it is not
good for anybody."
Rather than grazing pastures, like they usually do this time of year,
livestock are being forced to eat hay because of dry lands. These days,
a $40 bale of hay can cost upwards of $100.
"Really, around here, already hay is really scarce," Haley told the
Columbia Daily Tribune. "People just aren't being able to locate any
from the usual people. I get phone calls several times a day where
people are worried about hay and don't know what to do."

Akin's Idiocy is Infectious
Todd Akin's idiocy appears to be infectious. The evil genius of the Missouri congressman's comments is that they lend themselves to such broad interpretations -- and misinterpretations.
By now his remarks are familiar, but just in case ...
Akin told a local TV interviewer: "First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is really rare." He continued: "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."
My own take is that there's a dual-core of asininity here. First, Akin's formulation makes it sound like if an "alleged" rape victim is pregnant, it must mean that she wasn't really raped, like she was either asking for it or lying. After all, real rape victims don't get pregnant. I cannot imagine how infuriating it would be for a rape victim to have her rape claim dismissed by her pregnancy.
But even here, Akin couldn't stick the landing of his own buffoonery. Because he doesn't claim this is a universal scientific truth, just a rule of thumb. It's "really rare" -- he says -- for "legitimate" rape victims to get pregnant.

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Officials in
a Connecticut town have settled a zoning dispute over a local girl's
20-pound pet bunny after receiving calls and emails from across the
country demanding that the rabbit be allowed to stay.
North Haven First Selectman Michael Freda said Friday that the town will allow 7-year-old Kayden Lidsky and her family to keep the Flemish giant named Sandy and change the zoning rule that led to a cease-and-desist order three weeks ago. The rule bars anyone from keeping rabbits and other livestock on properties smaller than 2 acres.
The town's zoning enforcement officer issued the cease-and-desist order while investigating a neighbor's blight complaint against the Lidsky family, whose property is less than 2 acres.
"All along I've said that little girl is not losing that rabbit," Freda said. "We have a ridiculous ordinance ... and we're going to change it."
The Lidsky family, however, interpreted the cease-and-desist order to mean that they had to get rid of Sandy. Josh Lidsky, Kayden's dad, had planned to appeal the order to a town board.
"I'm happy it's over," Josh Lidsky said. "I'm saddened that it had to go as far as it did. It's very tough for a 7-year-old to understand why people would do something like that. She's cried nightly."
Kayden tells the New Haven Register she's "excited" that she can keep it.
Since the dispute hit the news last week, nearly 4,400 people have signed an online petition on change.org urging the town to not force the family to give up the rabbit.
Freda said he's also spoken to and exchanged emails with about 1,000 people nationwide.

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say at least four people have been shot outside the Empire State Building and that the gunman is dead. A witness says the shooter was firing indiscriminately.
The shooting happened Friday morning at 34th Street and Fifth Avenue.
A fire department
spokesman says it received a call about the shooting just after at 9
a.m. Friday and that emergency units were on the scene within minutes.
The department says paramedics are evaluating eight people but some of them may not have been shot.
